  1. Another OT must be on the to do list.
  2. Peters said that. They watched his pro day, was the most impressive player on defence, then flipped to run routes and was the best at that
  3. Yeah, I think this is about right. I do reckon Coleman has been drafted to play LT. Not saying that is or isn’t plausible, but that’s the plan. I think they take a look at him - rookie camp ? maybe Lucas takes early season reps, or they have Leno as the potential emergency pick up. Either way, Coleman will get the opportunity I say. RT is a concern too. Perhaps Lucas ends up RT. I’d sure feel happier with another vet OT on the books.
  4. Sounds like he was on a promise to go to Pittsburgh at 51 and we did them a pick earlier.
  5. Yep, overhaul all but complete.
  6. Disagree. Also, for example Sinnott is a great prospect. Love the potential. But he would never be 100% because he was consensus 3rd rounder. So that would weight down. Overall an A- draft.
  7. Nah, the best end of 80% is never that. A- territory.
  8. I think we might consider Micheal Gallup. Never really came back from the injury, but we need either a stud #1 or #2 brought in, or we roll by adding another experience vet in the #3 role. There are several out there still. Aiyuk clearly the dream in my book too.
  9. Got to be honest…I’d also still consider a WR move. I think Jahan is currently a #3 in my opinion. We’ve drafted WR #4. We are incredibly reliant on Terry. There are a ton of options still available. I’m looking for this aggressive recruitment approach to continue into camp…
  10. When Peters called him up, he said to him, ‘you’re a bad dude’
  11. We absolutely need another OT brought in. I do like the Coleman pick. I’d be looking in the vet market for another. Wonder if we see some cuts following the mass of round 1/2 rookies just taken.
  12. The media team is posting YouTube clips of the various picks/pre selection phone calls etc. They’re a fun watch, would be good posted in here, I’m just not clever enough to do it….
  13. Reminder of our signings. I’d actually forgotten some of the LB and CB ones…. Free Agents Signed TE Zach Ertz - 1 year, up to $5 million DE Dorance Armstrong - 3 years, up to $45 million C Tyler Biadasz - 3 years, up to $30 million LB Frankie Luvu - 3 years, up to $36 million RB Austin Ekeler - 2 years, up to $11.43 million K Brandon McManus - 1 year, $3.6 million G Nick Allegretti - 3 year, $16 million DE Clelin Ferrell - 1 year, $3.75 million QB Marcus Mariota - 1 year, up to $10 million DE Dante Fowler Jr - 1-year, $3.25 million LS Tyler Ott - 3-year, $4.39 million S Jeremy Chinn - 1 year, up to $5.1m LB Bobby Wagner - 1 year, up to $8.5m LB Anthony Pittman - 1-year, $1.1 million CB Noah Igbinoghene- 1-year deal CB Michael Davis - 1-year deal CB James Pierre - 1-year deal C Michael Deiter - signed WR Olamide Zaccheaus - signed RB Jeremy McNichols - signed QB Jeff Driskel - signed LB Mykal Walker - 1-year deal Free Agents re-signed S Jeremy Reaves - 2-year, $6.1 million WR Jamison Crowder - 1-year deal DE Efe Obada - 1-year, $1 million OT Cornelius Lucas - 1-year deal worth up to $4 million
  14. Athletic freaks is a common theme in many of our picks, some of the UDFA too. They sure what to build a wrecking crew on defense.
  15. Defense heavy draft is quite surprising IMO Got to think we see a couple of offensive moves post draft…..
  16. So we took the guy we brought in…. Finally….
  17. JJ in the first, followed by…. Round 4 (108) — Khyree Jackson, CB, Oregon Round 6 (177) Walter Rouse, OT, Oklahoma Round 6 (203) Will Reichard, K, Alabama Not too bad IMO…..
  18. Anim Dankwah OT Howard….if he goes undrafted.
  19. Flip the dinner and get drunk part. Works better….
  20. Never really watched DL before the draft. Having watched this guy since, he’s an absolute beast. Another Daron Payne. What a pick.
