  1. Yeah Lucas got a one year low cost deal.
  2. I’m amazed your OCD didn’t make you list that in alphabetical order……. I reckon Coleman is viewed as our LT. Maybe Lucas starts the season. Maybe we bring in a vet for a season. But after that, Coleman was drafted for that job. I’m more concerned at RT now. I also think there will be players available that we can get to upgrade before week 1.
  3. 1-4 JJ McCarthy QB………actual 10 4-106 Roger Rosengarten OL………actual 62 4-108 Decamerion Richardson DB……….actual 112 4-113 Jamari Thrash WR…….actual 156 6-180 Joshua Karty K………actual 209 Only 4 picks out on Decamerion Richardson being my ‘best’ pick, especially on a bit of a sleeper choice.
  4. 14. Will Johnson*, CB, Michigan Johnson (6-2, 202) battled injuries last season, but he is a game-breaking cornerback. The interception against Ohio State last season was a game-changer, and he has seven interceptions the last two seasons. Quarterbacks had a 44.7% completion percentage when targeting Johnson, and he held his own against Marvin Harrison Jr. and Rome Odunze. Michigan's last three first-round defensive backs were Charles Woodson (1998), Leon Hall (2007) and Jabrill Peppers (2017). Johnson will join that impressive group.
  5. Just been reading there that the Steelers are in on him. A few other unnamed teams too. Excellent receiver. I mentioned. Gallup yesterday. There are several options at varying costs. Point being for me, I want us to keep the foot down. Another WR would be a strong move IMO. Much like OT, less so now at CB for me.
  6. I would have to say that everything about Daniels post draft has been great. I reckon he’s come across really well. Seems like a real pro, hard worker, committed. Popular figure. Peters and Quinn completely sold on him. Very positive.
  7. Aiyuk is a stud who won’t hit free agency. We’ve gone all in, 20+ free agents, drafted a franchise QB, nailed the draft, on paper for now, we have a need for another quality WR, still rank 2nd in available cap space, have 100mil+ in space next year, Aiyuk and Daniels have a great relationship. No brainer.
  8. I think we’ve drafted Coleman as our LT of the future. Perhaps we pick up a vet OT on a one year deal for the interim. I’d be tempted to offer a second for him. I’d happily give him big money too. I don’t see him hitting free agency Seems like the ideal time to do exactly that IMO
  9. @Skinsinparadise agree re Coleman. That’s a very solid pick.
  10. I think we’d have been taking Patrick Paul at #36 or #40 Newton was then too good to pass on, as was the Eagles trade offer.
  11. Same. For the record I wasn’t pushing the DeJean selection. Just discussing the process in that high second round.
  12. Yep I nearly threw that one on there too….
  13. Personally I think it’s very obvious we wanted Sainristil in the second round, and that influenced the trade back. And yep we can have been that sold on DeJean at the same time.
  14. Get him another stud WR and one more upgrade on the OL. Those would be my post draft priorities, even at the cost of 2025 draft picks.
  15. I think you are probably right, however the passing over of DeJean at #40 because we were clearly focused on Sainristil make me slightly question that logic. You have to assume we didn’t have a first round grade on DeJean, or had other concerns. I know we got good trade value, but imagine if we hadn’t got Sainristil at #50 once that CB run started.
  16. I see an instant impact player. Along side Ertz we’ve got a nice 1-2 blend now.
  17. Basked on what Peters said on that call, Magee was clearly our primary target with this pick and we’ve been fortunate to land him having sat out the 4th round.
  18. Another OT must be on the to do list.
  19. Peters said that. They watched his pro day, was the most impressive player on defence, then flipped to run routes and was the best at that
