You're probably right, but that opinion also destroys any credibility SCOTUS had left. Laws passed by Dems that we're overturned by Scotus (that aren't brought up explicitly in the constitution) should all be passed again immediately. This new opinion would set a damning precedent if anyone tries to take them back to SCOTUS

There are a few options Dems have, but they're too scared of "what republicans will do when they get back in power" to do anything while they're in power The reasoning in the SCOTUS opinion that abortion rights aren't "in the constitution" is the dumbest **** I've heard from those idiots yet. Might as well throw out 90% of previous SCOTUS decisions then.

They are certainly bad, but the good news is the 2 big pieces that started the rebuild have been good to great so far. Gray looked incredible for the first few innings before missing pitches. If he can stretch that for a few more innings, he has a lot of potential. And Ruiz has been our best player the first 2 games. He's an instant win in that trade. Also, the Mets lineup is stacked. Our bullpen is comically bad, but they're going to score a lot of runs this year against everyone I'm still laughing that we had a guy ejected tonight for trying to apologize to the Mets dugout. Has to be the first time ever
