Our new owners want you to help pay for their expensive rebuild of the franchise. On one hand it takes a lot of nerve but these owners are in business. They are running a for profit business and not a non-profit business. But as a fan not living in the DC area there is no way I would still have tickets. Why? Their product stinks and there is no sign of improvement in the foreseeable future. When fans travel to other stadiums the fan experience is much better than what the current team provides even with the new upgrades. The field itself is not on par with other stadiums. Regardless of which GM and Head Coach are hired it is still a dumpster fire at this point.

It is amazing to me how Marty Hurney has been able to fly under the radar all season along with the other clown Mayhew formerly of the Detroit Lions. On this board we just say we need a new General Manager but we never call them out like we do with Rivera. I know Rivera has final say but these clowns advised Ron who to pick in the draft. These clowns helped with free agency too.

Jim Harbaugh played quarterback in the NFL for the Bears. He can coach any quarterback to be better. I think he could help Howell a lot.

Switching over to defense. Redskins had two opportunities to hire Vic Fangio as a defensive coordinator. Instead Miami hired him as defensive coordinator so as we watch them play Miami and lose let that fact sink in. Also before Fangio went to Denver we could have tried to get him too. There was probably at least one other chance as well but I can't recall the exact circumstances. Maybe Ron was worried that if he were ineffective then the owner would name Fangio Head Coach. Fangio did a great job with 49ers defense when they went to the Super Bowl. He is another example of being a better coordinator than head coach.

The ownership including the 20 partners will be facing paying Rivera and all his coaches one more year of salary while they are not on the team. Then they will be hiring a new GM and coaches. A lot of salaries to deal with and I just hope they don't keep Ron just to save on salary. Everyone needs to go. I hope Keim or some other reporter who follows the team can get player reactions to Rivera taking over the defensive responsibilities tomorrow. Eye rolls and no comments perhaps? Also, is it true that the other coach who was fired only had a high school coaching background? If true that is unbelievable.
