Get rid of Wentz contract and then you have more flexibility in keeping who you want to keep long term.

I think the local media and national media are making too much out of the return of Chase Young. The current line is doing just fine without him. If they want him to rush the passer on third down and maybe play 10 plays or so then that is ok . Let him get the taste of playing but do not start him and risk re-injury. Let him have all winter and next pre-season to get back to full speed. He needs to gain more muscle mass too. He looks very thin right now. Next year we can find out if he is a bust or is a keeper. Right now I would say picking Justin Herbert would have been the better way to go for this team. Hindsight is always easy to fall back on.

With the exception of Monday Night this franchise has played down to the level of competition historically. I predict Taylor, Jon and Terry will not allow this to happen in Houston on Sunday. Washington 21 and Texans 13. Defense creates some turnovers against the former Stanford quarterback.

This win against the Eagles should be a confidence booster for this team. For years we would lose on Monday Nights so last night was so enjoyable for the players and the fans. I listened to two Eagle sports radio stations today. They are still in shock that Washington won. Some of their fans are ready to fire some coaches- specials team coach and the defensive coordinator.

This win is the best win of the Ron Rivera era. Normally we choke on Monday Night Football. I heard Cooley bet on Washington to win. If we could bottle the formula from last night and take it to all the other remaining games we would be in good shape.

I don’t think Ron can start Wentz next week. Just keep running the ball. TH playing with house money.
