What is incredible about all of this is that Ted played out this exact situation with the Capitals and GMGM, who had a much, MUCH better track record than Ernie. You figure this guy would see what happened with the Capitals and try to duplicate success.

What's getting lost in this conversation... Didn't we bring in Paul Richardson to be a deep threat? Why the heck aren't we using him as one then?! Look what happened the two times we actually threw the ball deep to him this year -- defensive holding against AZ and a 35 yard gain against the Colts. We need to be taking more shots to him . It is the only way we can open up things in the short passing game for Reed/Thompson/Crowder. And, if we believe Alex is the same QB he was last year, he lead the friggin NFL in downfield passing.

Yeah, but their third best player is Ibaka or Valanciunas... When one of those guys is your third best option you are going to have some real issues come playoff time.

Unfortunately I have no faith in WWE keeping Reigns as a silent badass type. I can see it now.. RAW opens with an Authority promo to which Reigns comes out and says, "Triple H I thought you were the C.O.O not the P.O.O!" With that stupid grin on his face. A good 85% chance of this happening I'm thinking.

This is an awful idea lol. We are literally 7 games into our season and you are actually thinking about trading away our second best player? Everyone needs to calm down a little. Yeah we look bad, but the NBA season is 82 games long and is full of up's and down's. We beat the Spurs a week ago for christ sake.

Long shot here.. I will be in Indianapolis opening weekend for business. Does anyone know/have any idea of where a good spot to catch the game would be? I'm sure there are plenty of bars with Sunday ticket but I am guessing the majority are going to be Colts only. Thanks in advance guys.

At this point I think many of us would be very cool with NXT just taking over Smackdown. Either that or promote a large number of the NXT roster to main and go back to the RAW/Smackdown brand split. Way too much talent right now that is not being recognized properly despite 5 hours of WWE programming a week.

Usually it is pretty easy to take a guess on who is going to win, especially for big title bouts, but this time around I don't have much of a clue on whose winning the title at MITB. I'm gonna go the safe route and say Cena (again..) but maybe they'll shock us and put it on Wyatt although that still might be too early for him.

Regardless of what we do at the #3 pick, I would love to see us add some more scorers with our 2nd rounders. A guy that hasn't been talked about absolutely anywhere is Temple's Khalif Wyatt. I saw him play live this past NCAA tournament against Indiana in the 2nd round and absolutley toy with the best definsive player (Oladipo) and team in the country. When you take a look at him he looks the exact opposite of what you would picture a great scorer to be, but he has such a crafty and unique scoring arsenal. More so than Shabazz, Steve, he reminds me of a Paul Pierce type. If he shows he can get buckets against a great defender in Oladipo I see no reason why he can't come off the bench 8-14 minutes a game to give our bench a much needed scoring spark.

If this trade goes down I might consider turning in my fan card. This move just screams mediocrity. Ilyasova is a decent player, but what are we trying to build a perrenial 4-6th seed? The point of any franchise is to win a championship. The only way we could reach the Finals with a Wall-Beal-Ilyasova core is if both Wall and Beal make metioric rises to stardom. Even then we would get ripped apart by the Heat, Pacers (getting killed against the front court), a returning presumably healthy Derrick Rose and a possible rise of the Cavs with their 1st overall pick. It is not very often you get the chance to add the 3rd best prospect available, and even in a weak draft you still have the potential to add an All Star at that 3rd pick. No matter what anyone says, Ilyasova will never, ever be an All Star in this league. Take Porter or Bennett and be happy that the ping pong balls bounced in our favor for once.
