I laughed to myself when I saw all the positive comments in this thread for the past three plus years. I'm not sure where it came from This team will win no more than 30 games this year, I'd bet $100,000 on it.

We're a joke. Have been and will continue to be. Any shred of optimism anyone has uttered in the past five years has been a mirage. Crappy front office, crappy coaching, crappy players, crappy team. When was the last time this team even drafted a good player? Look at our draft picks the last decade. It's pathetic.

I know a bad team when I see one. This is a bad team. A bunch of random players thrown together. That's the best way I can describe it. Players nobody else wants. Nene, our best big man, always injured. Wall, the savior, up and down. It's a mess.

I can't remember the last time this team had a powerful/dominant PF or C. Seriously.

Will anything ever change with this team? The answer is no. Worst franchise in the history of the NBA. Welcome to the DC Sports Curse.

So many different types of players on this team. I get the feeling it is going to be a different player every night.

I just looked at the schedule, and realized that we are going to go 8-8 this year. Not bad.

With the name controversy/outrage at unprecedented heights, combined with disappointing and horrible play from the Redskins, this has been one of the crappiest years so far as a fan.

Didn't know we had signed Harrington. Haven't been paying much attention. He's way past his prime but he might have something left to give.

Roy Helu Jr. deserves more carries regardless of Alfred's status.

I worry less about Wall and more about Grunfeld ability to put the proper pieces around him to do anything more than a one & done in the playoffs. That is important. We are investing a ton in John Wall though, already have. I've been critical enough of him in the past, I don't need to voice that again. Dude needs to step up and play like the #1 overall pick. I think he has underachieved by a fair margin. We are far far way from making any noise in the playoffs. If Beal and Porter can become consistent and dependable scorers, and Nene stays healthy, along with contributions from others, then maybe we can be a 6-8 seed. And that is being optimistic. The roster does not wow me. Plus, we have Randy Wittman as a coach.

We'll see....he'll have to prove himself. If he can play to his supposed potential then it is a great deal for the Wizards. Or he could flop.

^ Agreed. Jan Vesely He is trash. Wizards have lacked a quality big man since I was born. Front court depth has always been an issue. It's amazing that we finally have Nene. We all know his health issues though, and he's own the downslope of his career (aka >30).
