I worry less about Wall and more about Grunfeld ability to put the proper pieces around him to do anything more than a one & done in the playoffs.
That is important. We are investing a ton in John Wall though, already have. I've been critical enough of him in the past, I don't need to voice that again. Dude needs to step up and play like the #1 overall pick. I think he has underachieved by a fair margin.
We are far far way from making any noise in the playoffs. If Beal and Porter can become consistent and dependable scorers, and Nene stays healthy, along with contributions from others, then maybe we can be a 6-8 seed. And that is being optimistic. The roster does not wow me. Plus, we have Randy Wittman as a coach.
