  1. Yep good stuff KDawg. I have long thought OCs often stifle QBs development far more than we ever hear discussed (close to never). OCs traditionally tote their playbook from city to city leaving a wake of failed QBs in their wake, yet never stopped to consider their playbook/playcalling is what made the QB fail. Last on display here, watching a mobile Heiny sitting in the pocket on 8 straight plays at the end of game, behind the most decimated OL i can recall. Meanwhile, Heiny's play in those last 2 series probably spurred looking at Tribs, with no one giving those ****ty play calls by Scott Turner a 2nd thought. Coaches are largely above scrutiny.
  2. QB desperation is setting in - its amazing what a few INTs noodle arm throws and losses can do, coupled with kicking the can down the road on drafting a QB. I wish we could have heard the bid/ask on Tribs. I am not sure what I would offer, maybe a 3rd if we weren't so inept and it would be a late 3rd but it will be closer to an early 3rd of course. The Foles Experience coupled with a modern day OC (who doesn't have his 1000 page playbook for a different style QB) showed you can get to the big dance with a vet. I know we have higher aspirations than a Foles and a better long term solution but that is more laughable at this point. We may be lucky to have a franchise at this rate of chaos crimes and dysfunction. Our best hope there is to blend in with the NFL old boys club assuming the Wilkinson report ends up exposing more indiscretions from other teams e.g. Grudenisms and takes some heat off of Mr. Richardhead. Ron has to draft a QB with our top pick next year, and not drool over some athletic kid. And stop drafting quantity over quality and watering down talent. We have no 5th next year because we really wanted Cheeseman or Bradley-King / Shaka Toney - basically free agents. Ron wanted to lose. The best way to lose is with a young QB learning hard lessons, not asking JDR to play soft zone at crunch time / never blitz.
  3. Becoming pubLICKly traded is the only way to escape this quagmire Edit: Ticker WFT would be shorted 2000% of available shares. No we wouldnt be the next Gamestop.
  4. I think its good to try to get a QB in here. I will say it again. Any GM with half a brain will know to triple the ask price when RR comes calling on draft day next spring.
  5. He probably doesn't get much insider info anyways. Remember, we aren't that far off from Bruce only doing interviews at small radio stations in rural areas, once a year or 2. Directive from Mr Dickhead no doubt, who hates the media. Who is still in charge. And also, the big news stories would break only by national guys an hour before kickoffs. Any talk of going after Watson is more a testament to how desperate we are or are perceived to be, even by our best beat guys.
  6. Tongue in cheek yeah mostly but that aside until we see him draft a QB its all our assumption that he will this time around. Will we once again hear the price was too high for the guy he wanted? A smart GM will LOOT HIM when he calls next spring as he has backed himself into a bad place and everybody knows. Including that a Rodgers won't come here; RR will be and is desperate. Yes I am still stinging from the exact same scenario playing out under shanahan; refusing to draft a QB early on what may have set the team back a decade when Mike drafted 2 and used 6 picks to do so. Or was it 7. I remember, how many picks RG3 cost us is still up for debate haha. If we weren't such an inept org maybe we could entice a proper vet here so for us its draft or bust. Its great to build the lines first but it leads to wins. RR showed his hand last year and admitted to it this year, he wants to lose to get a great draft slot but without sandbagging on D, it will lead to wins and killing his own plan. RR seems a hot mess; he just cancelled the bye week practice. A practice that points the finger at the players being the problem. Cancelling it points the finger back to himself.
  7. How RR will address the missing link hmmm. He will stick to the plan. Keep blindly drafting DL/F7 and Laron Profit. Don't risk any picks on a QB; all the draft picks we spent on linemen - they will sandbag it for RR and parlay us into a glorious draft position. So that we can draft another lineman. Game is won in the trenches. John Madden knew. Knew before it became a passing league favoring the top QBs.
  8. She came out to clear her name of being a narc re: the leaked Gruden Allen Files. Mrs Synder is such an idiot she doesn't realize she actually showed the world she supports everything being kept/swept under the rug. Then again, she was playing to an audience of 31, if you don't count Mr Douchebags.
  9. Its painful to say it but they have a better owner as well. Scrapping the bottom of the barrel...
  10. Smith-Williams seems to log a lot of snaps. I feel like we have too many front 7 and should trade one for picks. Or 2. We have far too much draft capital/skill sitting on the sidelines. Did we start trying for strips only on the final drive yesterday? Sure tackling is a priority blah blah but I see other teams have designated certain players to go for FF while I feel like our players have to just improvise on their own. Landon seemed to have a good game. Did we start letting him attack at the LOS? If so its a Madieu Williams situation all over again. It seems to takes months for coaches to learn to not put players into position to fail; instead use them to their strengths.
  11. He didn't draft a QB given the chance. Its Shanahan all over again. Mrs Tanya will make him reach on someone next spring and then he will draft someone better for spite, after mortgaging our future.
  12. Wow we really blew it its painful watching Blewit blow a golden career saving opportunity dropped into his lap that would only be presented by a team that constantly blows. Feeble attempts at humor is about all we have left folks.
  13. i am not convinced we are smart enough to take a QB though. We prefer to stockpile front 7 instead.
  14. One ****ing pissed off note, when your OL is decimated, don't make your mobile QB sit in the pocket with the game on the line, for 8 straight plays.
  15. It hurts to see the noodle arm late throw easily defended, every single time.
  16. Rodger the Dodger!! If Dan survives this is will be from doing what he has been doing all along, writing checks. And, having dirt on the all the other shady ****s controlling a very very profitable industry. But hey capitalism. Washington Capitalists. There is our new name. Why the **** don't we have a name yet? It is nothing short of complete incompetence on full display for all to see. No other team struggled with such a simple thing.
  17. Yep agree the NFL is most afraid of race related issues and rest assured we are right in the middle of all of it.
  18. Yeah I guess she was trying to let the boys in the cult know: hey, I am not a rat. You can trust me to not spill the beans on my husband Mr Synder and his despicable organization.
  19. Oh no that's depressing. We certainly have not hit rock bottom yet. But the difference is Green was a star, and Dan is just a telecom bubble nerd that got lucky and sold before the market tanked.
  20. What a little punk ass **** trying to be called Mister. Call me Mr. Synder. Sure thing, Dan. You wanna go?
  21. Ok I will rephrase - they didn't like them enough, or didn't see the need to address QB this draft. They liked holding their draft picks better, and Jamin which reeks of former LBs as coaches having too strong a vote in the draft room. Ummm - QB? It's was hard to watch the entire first round knowing NE was going to land Mac Jones and we'd likely take no one, yet again.
  22. Thanks for the info. I think we should trade one of our stud front 4 and acquire the draft capital he is hesitant to part with. When you keep drafting DL and it doesn't = wins, its time to make a trade. Lets send Chase to Green Bay to become the next Preston Smith. We sure like Smith-Williams a ton so someone is expendable. I want a mandate on our next coach - he must draft a QB in the first 3 rounds within their first 2 years. This of course after RR likely panics and reaches on a QB next spring and crashes and burns like the dumpster fire our entire org is. Somehow, we have STILL not yet hit rock bottom.
  23. Clearly if RR and our GMs didn't like any of last years QB draft crop (nor see the need), they certainly won't next spring. Is Mrs Synder going to choose our next QB, or force our coaches to take one? The more things change the more they stay the same.
