Yeah not ideal. But I am going to try to have faith on our front line defense to pressure Watson and try to make him take dump offs and get to him often for some sackage as well.

I believe in our defense. How many top 5 defences has he gone against since he has started?

For me TH was supposed to be the stop gap for this year only, prior to getting Wentz. TH was not in the picture for me in 23 maybe as a backup but we have Howell now. So, Wentz as QB#1 (if he works out of course) and Howell as the #2 and whoever at irrelevant #3 spot.

I justed wanted to make sure since I didn't put a lol at the end. lol As for Carr and getting him last year probably would have been better than Wentz. But Carr was not available. I wasn't too high on Carr either and would have liked Jimmy G. instead. Which I said I was okay with if TH is not going to be the starting QB. I also said no to Wilson (sure most laughed at me) since I noticed a decline in his play. Didn't want Turbs or any other backup QBs as well. Now for 23 I feel Wentz might be the better option for the fact that he will have a whole year in the same offense and with a stout running game with a better D. I supposed you could stick Carr but continuity and chemistry to me makes more sense even if we don't win the last two games. Wentz needs to have a strong showing though or else back to clean slate again.

Who are you drafting if we are drafting at 21 or lower? Second round then? Drafting a QB probably is not an option in 23. This is why going with Wentz and Howell is the better option right now. I prefer continuity and stability over other possibly more expensive options. We still need to make our OL better too.

Yes. He is going to be the QB coach next year.

We have always been in win now mode thanks to Dan and his ego. Hopefully the new owner will allow the coach to take his time and build. Are we close? The way our D is playing and adding to O should make us a real contender next year and you can still do that with Wentz. Carr is such an up and down QB and so is Wentz but at least Wentz will be year 2 in the same offense. I give the edge to Wentz here. Howell should be the backup and I still want to see what he can do before casting him off.

It is great all these QBs are available. But is anyone even thinking it takes time to get used to a new offense? Wouldn't Wentz be the better deal if he wants to stay and you can build around him instead?
