Grant Paulsen on the radio today believes that Wentz was brought here for more than just one year. Wentz will start the last two games so they can see if he will be a viable solution for next year. They can't start the next year with a rook. I thought about it. It does make some sense and I would imagine Ron would rather go the vet route with the way team has played this year especially recently. Plus, Wentz will be well versed in Turner's offense as well with more time on the same offense. If you bring in another vet then they will need to learn a new offense and more time will be required. So bring back Wentz next year is probably the safer bet. My concern would be at what cost? $26.1 million and $27.3 million for 2023 and 2024?

Here is a glaring example from the Giants game how Turner sometimes doesn't use his brain correctly. It is 2nd and 18 on our own endzone - the sack, fumble, scoop and TD play. A run play should have been called there to shorten the 3rd down attempt. I said it in the game day thread as well. Then when I was listening to Jay Gruden yesterday he said the exact same thing and added our OL can't protect the QB for a long developing pass play and a run play should have been called there. Bingo. It is really baffling that Turner is not able to see that their DE is always in our backfield and yet you are going to call a long developing pass play? Turner most of the game will call plays that makes you scratch your head. Like Samuel up the gut for no gain. 5 carries yesterday with 1 yard total gain. He abandoned the run in the Giants game. BRob only got like 18 touches. Sure we were down by 11 but you put together two good scoring drive and now we have 14 more. Like Jay said our OL can't pass protect so you run, play-action and shorter throws to move the chains. Gruden would have called a better game than Turner.

I will not support exgauration like you are doing right now. Your stance is like well it should have not happened and I refuse to see it any other ways. To you there is no such things as physics in this world or velocity or speed. Taylor should have just jumped higher or grown two inches. And if he can't grow two inches then fire him. At least I don't do that. Btw, we do have a taller QB sitting on the bench. Ron needs to put him in to fix these high snaps issues.

The two teams have met each other 34 times (including 4 postseason games), with the San Francisco 49ers winning 21 games and the Washington Commanders winning 12 games. They have also tied 1 time. The night before Christmas the Commanders will be feasting on the #1 ranked run blocking and #5 ranked pass rushing 49ers all courtesy of San Francisco. Don't forget to take your hat and jacket on the way out. The OL and Taylor are going to be running for their lives more than they have in the past. But, the game is still winnable. Commanders: 16 49ers: 13

I also provided the link to the game. You could go and watch it yourself and see it as well. It was not a direct snap and catches him off guard. It is going through his finger tips in the still I was able to pause it on. Kinda a hard to catch a ball with your fingertips though. Does wearing pads have an effect on how high you can extend your arms? Legit question not trying to be funny or anything.

Hits his fingertips and bounce the ball up in the air kinda a hard to catch a ball that doesn't hit your hands directly. The ball is going up and away and not straight at him. But at least because of his quickness he was able to track the ball up in the air and re-catch it. So I will give him that at least. You third point is incorrect. Dotson is behind the defender and not in front of him. Also no where in the broadcast they show that had Dotson stopped running. You can watch it here: https://nbafullhd.com/92230-2/ Even with a "real" QB that is still an INT if thrown in the same exact spot since Dotson is behind the defender and not in front of him.

Wentz would also get demolished by the Niners D. IF we lose to them then Wentz plays in the home game against the Browns. Like GP said on the radio today he feels sorry for TH for playing the Niners and it is not fair to him. The Niners have #1 D against the run and #5 against the Pass. So Ron will not make a change to the QB for the Niners game. TH is still a bit more mobile than Wentz. You do not want Wentz in the Niners game at all.

I just switched to MNF lol

Jay Gruden on the radio today and here some bullet points: - If it was me I would have ran across the field and tackled that referee. -The ref should be suspended. -It happens all of the times if the tackles are lining up too deep they will tell the coach if he doesn't correct it they will throw the flag next time. Ref talks to the players and coaches all of the time. -Don't get me started on that ref. -There is no way the ref can justify that call -The guy still threw the flag. It was crazy. -The call had no impact on the play -The line is better at run plays than pass plays. On the sack-fumble it should have been a run instead of long developing pass play. -Their strength is running the ball, quick plays and play-action instead of longer plays. -Not good enough to protect for deeper pass plays -Lots of teams are in the same boat but you have to get the ball to your playmakers a lot quicker.

Danny on Grant and Danny show said NFL needs to figure this out since they are so hi tech or someone from MIT, but just the other day I was using a laser line like the one construction people use and said to myself why can't they put that on the field so the WRs don't need to look at the ref and just the line in front of them. The tech exists and has been available for ages. But I guess it would take a smart person at NFL to see that or even think about it.

Jay Gruden on the radio right now saying these PI can be be huge momentum changing and some if not all should be challengeable. Also said Belichick in the coaching meeting did bring up that we have these red flags and why we can't challenge a PI. I am all for the coaches to be able to call at least one challenge in a game so it doesn't get out of hands.

Oh okay. But my point had nothing to do with me believing it or not. I posted what I saw and what Terry said. I don't think Terry would tell a lie to the media and obviously the ref might to cover for his blunder though. And yes it should have never came down to one play and being down by 8. But, if a team has a chance to put together a comeback drive and the ref is either flag trigger happy or looks the other way. That I have a problem with. Lots of team try to mount a comeback and the refs need to call the game in more constant manner is all every fan wants.
