For me it is simple as this: If TH plays and we win. Then why the hell he didn't start in the Browns game. So double edge sword there. Howell plays win or lose really doesn't matter since he couldn't play since Wentz was the backup to TH and TH to Wentz so fans can't say why we didn't start Howell earlier. You couldn't or can't.

If Ron is not playing Howell that means he is trying to make sure he has a some sort of a winning season rather than a losing season on his resume. If that is the case then TH will start.

Except we were going to the SB with RG3 before his knee got destroyed his rookie year. But we will never know. As for Howell he has to start next year. So done with retreads. Any QB that comes in will need to learn the offense anyway so no instant success is guaranteed. Ride the rookie route and see where it leads you first with better OL and DL and TE.

Actually he was selected in the sixth round. We selected Howell in the 5th. I still want Howell to start next year. 2023 is the last bridge for Ron. Don't want to be tied with a castoff locked up for years.
