Kingsman: Secret Service: B+ Very entertaining. The over the top violence and not so subtle jabs at James Bond went hand in hand quite well. Acting was spot on. It was very tongue-in-cheek, so to speak, with the corny villains, insane gadgets, etc. Enjoyable. Furious 7: A Another great entry in the franchise. Ever year it gets a little more over the top and 'splosion filled, but it's more enjoyable than the average Michael Bay flick, because you like the characters so much. The tribute to Paul Walker at the end was well done. If you like action movies with heart, you'll like this. Also, Nathalie Emmanuelle is gorgeous. Ex Machina: B Another movie I enjoyed, but I don't quite get the hype for it. I get the story and the themes behind it, but it didn't necessarily blow me away. Not a bad movie in any regard, though. I can see why it got great reviews, though it didn't resonate with me quite so strongly. Domnhall Gleeson's performance was spot on. Also, Vikander did a great job as the AI. Very, very well done by her. Dinosaur 13: A This is a documentary about the T-Rex skeleton "Sue", that was found in 1990, that was then proceeded by very lengthy and the equally ridiculous lawsuits and trials for the next 15 years. It'll both wow you, and piss you off at points. Highly recommend. American Sniper: B- In and of itself, and if you haven't read the book, it was a good movie. I read the book a few months ago, before I saw this, and I've gotta say this movie is more military porn than biopic. Chris Kyle in this film was a bit romanticized and was made to be much more likeable. It was still a good film overall, and I can recommend seeing it, but it's an exaggerated portrayal of Kyle's character and experiences.

Ole Sigmund. Perhaps I'm afraid of barnacled genetalia? I mean, who wouldn't be, right? There were not. There were no cylindrical objects in my dream, that I can remember.

I've been having a regular dream lately that involves critters. I walk into my room and it's completely clear. I walk in again, and there are nightmare creatures all over the place. I'm talking about foot long spiders that look like they've bred with crabs and other crustaceans. Can you imagine that? A foot long spider with barnacles, thick limbs, and huge pinchers? In fact, I had that dream last night. ****'s scary, son.

I've never seen it. I think Nightcrawler, while being a good movie, was overrated. I really didn't see an Oscar caliber movie. That being said, I do believe Jake Gyllenhaal deserved a best actor nod. It was a really good performance by him.

Of the ones I've seen, here are my grades. Book Thief, Edge of Tomorrow, and DOFP were all excellent. Draft Day was a bit melodramatic, but I still enjoyed it. A nice lineup you got there. Nice. I've seen all of these except for "The Drop", which I have, but haven't watched. Foxcatcher, John Wick, and Railway man were all excellent movies.

Saw Interstellar again yesterday (I had seen it in the theatre previously). Love it. I'm a big sci-fi and space nerd, so it was right up my alley. Incredible the way that wormholes and black holes were imaged and used in the story. Now one of my fav. films. I also have seen some of the Oscar nominees recently: The Theory of Everything (A-), The Imitation Game (B+), Whiplash (A). All were very good. My favorite of the three was probably Whiplash. Very intense. JK Simmons was amazing, as usual. Next up: Still need to watch Birdman and Boyhood.

I loved the uni's from this past sunday. They were sweet. I hope we wear them more.

even if we lose to the chiefs, and although the season would be lost before it ever begun, I'd say we finish no worst than 5-11. Our defense alone should keep us in every game, and I think our offense should accidently make enough plays to get us to at least 5-11.

I like the all white jerseys. Compliments the dark colored helmets/shoes nicely. I think it looks more "modern". I also love the white bottoms and burgandy tops. Perhaps one day we'll be able to see all burgandy...from a few pictures I saw, really looked sharp
