  1. Not often you’re +3 in the TO margin and lose. Congrats on the rare feat Dallas!
  2. Look, I’m bummed that Samuel might not be suiting up soon as well, but some of these takes are just hilariously knee jerk. ”Cut our losses” or “He’ll be on IR the whole year” are just atrocious takes without more info.
  3. I think this is to be expected. Excited to see how our D-line will help improve the O-line
  4. It combines everything I hate about the scheduling into one schedule: a long ass gap between division opponents (Giants) and virtually back to backs against the others (Eagles, Cowboys)
  5. Week 14 bye? I’d take that with a grain of salt IMO
  6. I think the Giants are doing what needs to be done. If they stink this year with Jones after surrounding him in FA with talent and a defense, then they’re going to have an answer at QB. They’re basically leaving him with no excuses.
  7. This is my thought as well. No way JDR and Rivera feel good about our LB group right now. They’ll definitely use FA to sign one guy to a one year stop gap contract, and find another in the draft.
  8. FO is definitely earning points in my book. These are smart signings that also have good cash value. Keep up the good work. A WR2 or LB and I think we’d be sitting pretty heading into the draft.
  9. This or Mariota were my preferred vet QB options. Still need to find the guy long term, but will make for an exciting year, and keep building in the draft.
  10. Was going to say just this. The right literally wanted to hang Mike Pence for not overturning the results of a free and fair election. And we’re the ones who are deranged and sick? Take your sanctimonious BS elsewhere @BruceAllenIsFootballGenius
  11. A Day 3 pick (4th) would seem good here. And I’d be happy with it. Roll the dice, see if he’s a reclamation project who can revive his career. Then build through the draft and FA to help give the team talent everywhere they can.
  12. Wilson is going nowhere. Media knows what it’s doing with the QB frenzy and rumor mongering to drive clicks
  13. So Orlando Brown apparently is leaving Baltimore because he wants to exclusively play LT... He's 6'8, 340 lbs, and 24 years old. 2x Pro Bowler. I think this is something to consider looking into.
  14. More I think about it, the more extending Allen now makes sense. Think about it this way: we know the D-line we have is ferocious, and by all intents and purposes, is the “core” of the team. We want them all to be together as long as possible. Extending Allen helps to allow this. 2021: Allen extended; all other D-lineman on rookie contracts. Use 5th year option on Payne for 2022. 2022: Allen on big contract; all other D-lineman on rookie contracts. Can franchise tag Payne for a one year deal. Use 5th year option on Sweat. 2023: Allen on big contract; Payne on tag. After this year, we likely have to start shelling out money for Sweat and Young, and the core is likely going to be fractured from a purely cost standpoint. Getting 3 years of production from this D-line on a relatively cheaper scale (Allen extension only) would be quite useful to build a contender.
  15. It wasn’t fixed, but it was clear that those early calls against KC were suspect at best. Granted I still think the way TB played they win the game, but still... could have been a lot closer.
  16. The only thing giving me pause is the Gase effect. We saw what Tannehill was able to become when he escaped Adam Gase. But agreed on compensation. I’d do it for a day 3, but likely will have to stomach up a Day 2 pick. No way for a 1st.
  17. He’s under contract for one more year in Oakland. I’d consider a 4th round more than fair value if we trade for Mariota. Prefer a 5th.
  18. Whew. I wanted Stafford but that price is STEEP. And we apparently had a better offer? Give the details! One potential upside - this means the Lions likely aren't going QB at 7 - which gives us a potential opportunity to snag one of the top 4, or at least, better odds.
