    The new GM will let us know if Sam is worthy of a mulligan due to the O line and EB's pass happy scheme. I dont trust any rookies so I'm not excited about taking a QB with our first pick. We have plenty of other needs to address so using the 1st on a QB means we dont get one of the stud tackles and the new QB will get at least 2 years if not 3 even if they are terrible like the kid in Chicago. I know Sam can make all the throws, he has the arm, he has the mobility but does he have the intelligence?

    Watching him bail the pocket with open WRs is a head scratcher. We're 14 games in and he's doing odd things that make me question how good he can become. I said 4 weeks ago that if we draft in the top 5 a new GM won't pass on a QB with elite skills and Sam hasn't helped his case.

    I agree it's going to be a tough game to lose if Brissett starts, if they keep Sam in there it's still only iffy.

    Our chances at the #3 pick most likely come down to the Cardinals beating the Bears next weekend, their final 2 are vs the Eagles and Seahawks.

    Remember last year when Wentz came in against the Niners and went 12/16 with 1 TD and a 71 QBR, we started him the next week against the Browns and he was awful. So I agree.

    I dont think starting a journeyman makes any sense, let Sam learn, it might be his last couple of games as a starter. This sounds terrible but starting him is our best bet to get that 3rd or 4th spot in the draft.

    Sam had plenty of time to throw but bailed on the pocket. I would love to see what the routes looked like while he was in the pocket, we've seen it throughout the year. Is it Sam or our WR's/TE's not getting open?

    The Bears are playing decent and have 3 winnable games so I dont see them being an issue but the Chargers and Giants probably won't win another game. A loss today sets us up for our mini toilet bowl next week against the Jets. That game scares me so let's hope Rodgers plays.
