Why doesn't he slide, he's gonna get waxed at some point, he needs to smarten up on those runs.

Before the season many thought we only needed a QB, now we have one and we're realizing that almost the entire rest of the team is suspect. From week to week it's really hard to decipher who is worth keeping on this team and how many holes we have to address. Sam will need a contract at the end of next year so we might not be able to go crazy in free agency. As much as I like Allen and I know he's been playing with a tough injury all year his contract is up soon and we could use the picks, try to shop him. We gotta stack the picks and hope whoever is making the decisions next year can hit at a high rate.

The D needs a rebuild.

That's a good loss, the win last week didn't help anything. Sam played well minus the bonehead fumble but he's our best player. It's gonna be a long 7 games to finish this out.

I agree and I don't care if he throws a pick or fumbles when the O line decides not to block but when he makes a nice run to move the chains in a game where we have no consistency on offense I hate watching it end in a fumble that didn't need to happen.

It was but those types of turnovers make me worry he's not getting it, we know our team stinks and any little piece of momentum can completely change the game. I like Sam and I'm not calling for his head or to be benched but that's back-to-back weeks with really poor decisions that didn't need to happen if he had a bit more awareness.

My guess is that benching both of your free-agent O-line acquisitions might look bad for a coach trying to hang on. Even worse is when we cut Wylie next year we'll take a $6MM dead cap hit.
