I feel like Voldemort didn't have anything feeding him data that he didn't want. Harris likely isn't just retooling, he's planting saplings where there should be a forest. Even a scatter plot would be something instead of nothing. Set your future team up to succeed, I like it. I trust Nicki Jhabvala over at WP. She's pointing out that three guys missed on the same sack. How do you put that in a metric? There's a huge difference between a guard blowing it so the QB needs to avoid one rusher than three rushers. The whole is is greater than the sum of its parts. That three guys on a sack was on a Keim podcast, but here's an article from her (doesn't seem paywalled) on the OL: https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2023/10/26/commanders-offensive-line-center/

Count me out, then. I don't want a coach who goes for 3's when we need a touchdown. Those are my two picks, too. The advantage we have is the blank canvas and the desire to do it the opposite of how it was done under Snyder. To have that big of a contrast is pretty damn enticing. We've got a good, young QB, a hungry set of core players, an owner who's hands off, and a fanbase who couldn't be disappointed. I think we're higher on the list than most.

Thanks, @Skinsinparadise , I was looking for that quote about vindication. In part I think, yeah, he has cleaned up a lot of **** here. He deserves credit for that. But like Heinicke, he isn't the future. It was put up or shut up, and now it's just shut up. I am, however, really excited about Howell. I wish I could ask Keim if brass-by-proxy were talking to main players like McLaurin and Allen to say but not say, "We hear you. We're not telling you you're wrong, and we hear you." I just don't want players like that feeling like it's gonna be the same bull**** for another seven years. -

LOL at all the people calling Robinson a bad pick because Rodriguez is doing well in his dozen snaps. New owner, same fans. -

Bro can you tag that NSFW come on -
I remember a few years back, in fact I think it was against ATL, Kirk threw a pick six in overtime. Some people were arguing it was a bad throw, others that the receiver ran the wrong route, and others that the defense made a play. It was amazing to see that there were so few who thought maybe it was all three. Like more than one person can be at fault in a game that has 22 players on the field every play.

Barton? What? No Toohill? Maybe it's a snap count thing, I don't get it.

Yeah because they beat the Bears. -
Yeah I associate that with Belichick circa like 7 years ago. I thought it was a documentary or something that had that tag line.

Fuller made a play on the ball and was inches away, some were saying Fields actually threw high. Those two plays themselves aren't really comparable. And if I'm busting my ass, and someone on my team is playing like ass, I want to see there be accountability. I'm trying to win, not coddle a player like he's a child just because people are watching. That's not how it works, anyway. -

I take it you didn't watch the presser. It was way more awkward than it reads in a tweet. -
I keep telling my son that all these coaches of good teams were on our team at the same time. He keeps asking why they're not on our team. I keep having no answer

So, what is the point of firing Ron? And every single other person on the team is now thrust into a new/stretched role as soon as you do that, so nobody is judged based on what they were hired to do. From the acting head coach to the water boys. And as Keim said, interim head coaches, other than Garrett now that I'm thinking about it, don't become the next head coach.
