Picked up my first sixer of the Fear over the weekend. How I've missed thee!

I'm Italian as well. Both my mom and grandmother were really good italian cooks. Olive Garden is crap IMO. Especially after living in Baltimore and being able to go to Little Italy for some good italian food. Will I still occastionally eat at OG? Yes. But it is far from my first choice. Wife and I usually go there with her mom since she loves the place. But on nights where the wife and I go out to eat, Olive Garden is no where near the list of places we go.

Think about it for the NFL and MLB too. The Cowboys seem to always get a bunch of primetime games every year. Seems the Yankees and Red Sox are always on ESPN/Fox/TBS even when they aren't playing well. The big name teams sell. I agree that its disappointing that some of the better teams aren't as exposed as others. But, that's just the way the TV game works.

Flying Dog Brewery tour yesterday was awesome. I highly recommend it. It's $5 and the tour takes maybe 30 minutes. Then you go back out to the bar and get 5, yes FIVE beer tokens. They had a ton of options to choose from to. I had some Dogtober Fest, Woody Creek, Old Scratch, Barrel Aged Gonzo and Woody Creek. I love Dogtober Fest and the Barrel Aged Gonzo was really good too. Also picked up a sweet Redskins themed Flying Dog shirt too. If you live near Frederick, you should definitely make the trip up there.

Think that's just how they always look during night games. I always feel like when we play under the lights our jerseys look darker.

Does anyone remember seeing an email from the team that talked about some of the free stuff you got? I can't find it, but I thought it mentioned something about NFL Game Rewind for free. Am I crazy or did we get that email?

Little of both. But at least they were memorable 15 years later. Is there anything happening in the current mid-card that you're going to look back on and remember? Probably not. Hell, you barely know who is even the IC Champ most of the time. Miz for now, but that's only because he's the mid-card "star".

The thing with the Attitude Era, for me at least, was that you actually cared about the mid-card. You cared about Val Venis, The Godfather, Goldust, X-Pac, etc. because they made those mid-card matches and titles matter. The Tag Titles and IC Title actually meant something. Now, no one cares about those because they don't push them as much.

LKB, you touched on some good points. You can almost tell when the WWE is running out of ideas when they start bringing back the old guys for random nights. What exactly is the point of seeing the nWo back together on RAW next week? Those kids in the crowd aren't going to know the significance of the nWo. Monday was the 1st time in awhile I tried to watch RAW, it was terrible. Felt like a big commercial for WWE Network. You can tell they're worried about people leaving when they do all that schtick about the network right away to open the show.

Well it was originally supposed to run from Memorial Day to Labor Day as the "Summer" beer. But it ended up coming out a couple weeks early and now they're keeping it around an extra month. I don't get ending it in October only to start up with it again in 6 months. I'm still not a huge fan of it. I'll drink it, but it just wasn't what I thought it would be. But like I said numerous times, it's so much better on draft. I definitely get more Old Bay flavor from the draft than the bottle.

That's all well in good, but it takes more than good WRs to win games. Especially in the defensive minded B1G. I'm not saying MD is going winless this season in conference, but a .500 record in conference IMO, is the absolute best case scenario.

I could see them beating Indiana and Rutgers. Iowa could happen just because it's a home game. Are you thinking they're winning at Penn St too?

But why would these kids go to college then? If they know they can just go straight to the D-League, at least they can get paid while they are playing.

Interested to see how the Terps fair in the B1G. Football wise, I think they have their work cut out for them. They obviously aren't as good as Ohio St, Michigan, Michigan St, Wisconsin. I could see a middle of the pack finish at best. Depends really how the play against Indiana, Iowa and Rutgers. They're schedule this year does them no favors tough. Even there OOC games will be tough having to play USF, WVU and Syracuse. As for basketball, it's pretty much those same teams to worry plus a few more like Indiana, Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois. The B1G probably has a smide more basketball depth than the ACC, though the ACC is more top heavy. Maryland shouldn't have a problem playing against the big boys since they seem to usually have 1 upset a year against UNC or Duke. But the B1G is no easy sledding there for them. I could see them finishing in the middle of the pack and maybe fighting for a tournament bid, but it'll be tough for sure.
