  1. Is there a less expensive way to finish a garage? I have exposed cement block right now on three sides and I want to start getting it to look nicer without going to the extent of framing it and drywall. Any tips?

Maybe try painting the cement blocks?

  2. Of ****ing course

But he won't tho. You know that

Wonder what is going through Snyder's mind right now.

He though he had this thing figured out in 2010 when he hired Allen as GM and Shanahan to lead this team. Now, just 5 seasons later, we're right back to the debacle we were in when Allen got here.

Does Snyder have enough balls to admit this is a mistake and just totally clean house?

  3. Finally got around to picking up the Flying Dog Holiday Collection variety pack. Has 12 beers inspired by Otterbein cookies. There's an Oatmeal Raisin Stout, Peanu Brown Ale, Ginger Scotch Ale and Imperial Hefeweizen. Had high hopes for the Oatmeal Raisin, but didn't taste like Oatmeal or raisin. Wasn't bad though, just not as good as I was hoping for.

  4. I can't find a clip online for some reason, but it's mentioned in every story.

One of the enduring images of the melee was Jackson defiantly storming through the tunnel, flashing his Pacers jersey and screaming at the fans, totally unafraid as people dumped drinks on him. O’Neal took the experience a little more personally, lunging for a fan who had tossed a drink his way before getting pulled away by Wesley and others. Another Pistons fan threw a chair in the general vicinity of a few exiting Pacers. Jamaal Tinsley left the court through the tunnel and returned holding a dustpan over his head, but was turned away before inflicting any damage. It seemed improbable that every Pacers player and coach would make it through the tunnel, but they did.

I need to know, are we talking like your industrial sized metal dustpan or a little plastic one? This is important.

  5. Just saw this: http://uproxx.com/prowrestling/2014/11/wwes-pg-experiment-has-resulted-in-the-oldest-audience-in-company-history/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+uproxx%2Ffeatures+%28Uproxx%29

WWE’s PG direction may be frustrating to older fans who fondly remember the good ol’ days when wrestlers were allowed to use bleed, use big people words and old ladies gave birth to hands, but, in theory, it’s a smart business decision for WWE. Some of the company’s most successful periods have come when the product was more kid-friendly, and the best way to forge a hardcore fan is grab ‘em when they’re young. So I completely understand WWE’s decision to stick rigidly to a PG rating, or at least I would if it were working. It’s not.

The Wrestling Observer just released a breakdown of who’s watching WWE’s top programming (Raw, Smackdown and Total Divas) and WWE can’t be pleased about the numbers. For starters, the average WWE viewer is now 41.4 years old, which means the WWE audience is older now than it’s ever been.

  6. Lately I've grown fond of visiting local businesses or going to YELP in order to dine at places with good reviews. Assuming Olive Garden does poorly on YELP so won't bother.

Everyone else should download YELP on their phone and dine at the highly recommended restaurants

I do this anytime I visit a city I've never been too. Pull up Yelp and look for places with good reviews that sound good.

  7. Found a winner from Flying Dog Brewery - Bloodline Blood Orange Ale.

Persuade the women in your life to stop drinking Blue Moon with a wedge of orange and try this beer instead. It has a really nice balance of hops with the blood orange puree, with that deep citrus orange mingling nicely with the hops at the finish.

Packs a bit of a punch at 7% ABV.

Had quite a bit of this over the summer. Wasn't as good as I was hoping, but it's still a solid beer. Wasn't as orangy as I was hoping for.

  8. I'll be damned. When I couldn't find the Dead Rise early this past summer, I was sprinkling Old Bay in the FD In Heat Wheat Hefeweizen. Was good!

I've had the Saranac Pumpkin Ale and the Harpoon UFO Pumpkin Ale this week. The Harpoon is DELICIOUS! Wow. The Saranac is pretty bad, wow. Opposite sides of the coin.

Thought the UFO Pumpkin was pretty solid. Made a 6-pack of random pumpkin beers yesterday at the liquor store. Had some Schlafy's Pumpkin Ale, UFO Pumpkin, Shipyard Pumpkin, DB Pumpkin Ale and Heybecher Pumpkin. Only had the UFO and Heybecher so far. The Heybecher was disgusting. Way too bitter for me.

  9. I saw that, seems like a suspiciously timely and hasty counter to the Dead Rise. I had Natty Bo over the weekend, had a ton of it thru my 20s....

Very lame beer. Might as well be Natural Light. Seriously. It's all nostalgia. Put Old Bay around the rim and it tasted a lot better. Good idea my friend :)

The Bohtinis have been around forever. I remember going to plenty of bars in Baltmore when I was in college and they all had them.

  10. Schlafly Pumpkin Ale is one of my favorites if you see it. Worth a try. I know a lot of people like Pumking, but to me it tasted like buttered popcorn. Didn't get pumpkin from it at all.

Schlafly Pumpkin Ale is my favorite pumpkin beer hands down

  11. Dang! Haven't seen it! Jealous.

Btw, I have a 3 year old bottle of it. Wonder how long I should age it. 3 sounds good, but taking it to 4 or 5 would be more interesting I think.

Thinking of aging a bottle of something for 10 years. My oldest beers are 5 year old bottles of DFH Midas Touch and FD Double Dog.

It was soooo good! I have a buddy that works at Flying Dog. I'll ask him what he thinks about aging it.
