  1. Sure, but how long would that take?  Lebron is turning 30 in December.  Would Lebron be out of his prime by the time Wiggins develops enough to be comparable impact-wise to Love?

Good question. But I liked Simmons' point that Love is still going to be available at the deadline (or at least he believes so). Why not take the 1st half of the season if you're Cleveland and see how LeBron and Wiggins play together. What if Bennett improves? Maybe Bennett, Waiters and a 1st would be enough then and you wouldn't have to include Wiggins?

There's alot of what-ifs with this trade. I just think if the Cavs are patient, they can make out in this deal. Plus, would the Wolves deal Love if they know they can get Wiggins from Cleveland?

  2. They seem fairly locked into stadiums at this point so its either the south or a dome going forward, I would think.

You know what could be cool? A college football stadium. It would never happen, but Wrestlemania at Bryant-Denny Stadium would be a neat atmosphere.

The biggest college stadiums in a "real" city would be Texas Memorial, the Cotton Bowl, the Rose Bowl, Husky Stadium, the Citrus Bowl, and Rice Stadium.

I actually think Husy Stadium would be beat, but if you were doing an outdoor show in Seattle, you would obviously CenturyLink Field.

I mean there has to be one at JerryWorld right? Vince and Jerry seem like a match made in heaven.

  3. They are cutting it close this year ... I got my tickets last year on 7/23 ..  haven't gotten any email this year yet ... and only 17 days to the 1st preseason game ..

Got an email saying you could print them online now and that they'll be mailed out the end of the month. Still seems to be cutting it close though.

  4. Guys, the Flying Dog Bloodline Blood Orange Ale is good. 7% Abv. Has a hint of spiciness to it, solid pine/grass hops, but the orange puree flavor makes me want to take huge swigs. Verrrrry drinkable for a 7% beer. I don't touch liquor anymore, and I know my limit with beers, which is about 7 beers around the 7% Abv range. Gonna hit it quick at this pace. After that point is where I start using walls to support myself.

I like Bloodline, I just thought there would be a smidge more orange taste to it. But I agree that is a very drinkable beer at 7%.

  5. Something I've struggled with: Does Durant bringing a title to OKC make it more or less likely he comes home in 2016?

I say no impact. I don't think he comes here anyway. Doesn't he say he doesn't like coming here to play because he has to buy so many tickets for friends and family? I don't think he would want to have to do that 41 times a year. I'd love to be wrong though.

  6.

You guys see this?  Nice touch...

Gold tabs on collars of past champs

Read a story on Uni Watch about it this morning. Though, the catalog Lukas saw, it seemed pretty inconsistent. For instance, the Kings had one for their win as the Royals, but the Wizards didn't have one. Plus, if they just do the tab for all past champs, wouldn't like half the league have it? Think they need to do stars or something to show how many a team has won. Kinda like the Lakers did with the stars around center court last season.

  7. Here's another stat:

Since 1999,so 15 years, 1 of 3 teams has been in every single finals (Lakers, Spurs, Heat)

That's nuts. Everyone thinks baseball is bad, but wow the NBA is worse.

Seems like they could be headed in the right direction though. The East is as wide open as any conference in any sport. The West still runs through the Spurs but the Thunder, Clippers and Rockets could easily come out of there too.

Think the NBA needs some parity. People get tired of seeing the same few teams winning over and over again.

  8. I liked Percy Pringle in World Class. I like Paul Bearer as a manager. I just don't think he was terribly important to that gimmick. He was more of a prop than anything else. He played that role really well, but he wasn't exactly a "manager" they way Cornette or Heenan were. I mean, the urn was more important in some ways than he was.

I see your point. I guess when I think of recent managers, he's one that comes to mind. I'm not sure how much of an impact he made for Taker or Kane, but he seems to go hand and hand when you think of either one.
