  1. What’s crazy is that last season (22-23) they were anointed the “best roster in football” with multiple 1st and 2nd round draft picks to keep stacking the roster. They lost Gardner-Johnson and their defense fell apart… still not sure what happened, maybe losing the coordinators was too much to overcome.
  2. I get what you’re saying, and for some guys winning becomes the prize. I think it’s admirable, I’m just not one to question another man’s motives when it comes to how he runs his business. Not saying you are either. I respect Kirk and most athletes for becoming that .01% by putting their bodies’ on the line and tend to give them leeway. Especially considering I’m sitting around today with a hot rice sock on my lower back! I want what I’ve worked hard for, period! No more shorts!
  3. For the hits those guys take standing in the pocket between a monstrous man a his families’ paycheck, I’d want every dollar I can get too, and wouldn’t let the opinion of anybody get in the way. Fans included.
  4. I’ve been wondering about the McCarthy hype myself. I’m not a college football fan, so the only games I watched were the college football playoffs. When Michigan played I kept wondering how the hell they made it because the QB was really average, then the running game, defense, and game management stuff showed up and I thought, oh that’s why, it’s Harbaugh and the coaching staff! Helluva coaching job he did this year! I’m no QB guru, and yes anything is possible, but the folks clamoring for us to trade back and draft McCarthy are absolutely nuts to me. My eyeballs see NFL backup. I say roll with Howell and build the roster before going with any of the QBs outside of the top 3 this year…. They’re. Not. Close.
  5. I hear ya, but with all the running and moving I’m not sure the body is able to stay fat. I myself was once a fat boy until I strapped it up in high school, weight melted off. Two-a-days will do that, I guess it’s possible if you refuse to try as a pro athlete. Although, Zion Williamson is giving it his best tho so I guess it’s possible…
  6. I’m in the game breaking running back in the 2nd crowd. We haven’t had a true elite back since Clinton Portis. The pre put on weight Clinton Portis… need some janky spanky in my life!
  7. 4. Mediots issue post draft grades, and downgrade or upgrade teams that didn’t / did select their “highly” graded players. 5. Fans argue about these draft grades and think their respective front offices are geniuses or idiots based on media perspective.
  8. Bruh, we’ve done couples ministry for years, the nonsense that splits relationships is insane. Always funny to clear the air and get to the knitty gritty details to actually begin restoring a marriage.
  9. Countless wives all across this beautiful land. Honestly I still don’t know which is right, over or under. My sin is leaving socks and undies on the bathroom floor!🥷
  10. I wasn’t aware newspaper discipline was still allowed in this new age. That’s how you trained a dog in ‘88! Hilarious 😆 afterwards face plant in pee! With death stare…
  11. Cool thread. Hmm, I’m GM.🤔 First I’d build the best scouting department money can buy. Ozzie Newsom style! FA: pay a good linebacker to solidify Quinn’s defense and make the calls. Need a general in the middle. And re-sign Curl, he’s the general on the backend. Sign a mid level pass rusher who “butthole and elbow” hustles! Find an interior lineman to stabilize the front, either center or guard. ($$-splash Snyder style!) Maybe both. Sign a big WR, Tee Higgins type (without the injuries) opposite McLaurin. Re-sign Leno and Cosmi. Let Thomas, Gibson, and Samuels walk and most of that putrid oline. 50/50 on Fuller. Probably should let him leave but if I’m Quinn, he stays.🤔. Intense team building there! Storming phase! Draft: Offense Heavy for QB development! Daniel’s at #2. Game changing back in the second! Tight ends and lineman with the next few picks per my draft board. Find a kick / punt return specialist! Finish with depth for special teams and a Cigar w/ bourbon. Top shelf! Fly somewhere nice before the season. Pacific blue!
  12. Cool story, he’s from my area of Hampton Roads, his dad worked at S&K for years as a suit tailor, fitted my Pops for years. Nice to see the pride in his dad’s eyes, wore the Seahawk’s hat with the suit. Be great watching him on the sidelines, kid from Norfolk! Home of the Atlantic fleet!
  13. Heard about this a on local radio today, what a dumpster fire! And I actually was a proponent of EB around mid year due to Howell’s development. I soured on him after he refused to run the rock, but I must admit, boy was I completely wrong. 😑
  14. Still waiting for a real answer where you attempt to use reasoning and the English language. Insults tell me you may be the 12 year old…
  15. Honestly, I think Quinn hired him based on his interview today where he thinks Kingsbury’s offense is hard for him (Quinn) to prepare against so he kept him and a few other coaches in the back of his mind as to who he’d work with if he got the chance again, so Kingsbury was on his short list. I just don’t agree with that logic based on the history of Kingsburys offense and the disaster he was in Arizona. Concerning Whitt, he’s being loyal to one of his guys who he trusts and thinks is smart and ready to go to war with.
  16. You’re so determined to insult me your reading comprehension is struggling, it’s ok, I’m used to it. Yes, I know Slowick and Ryan are familiar but Ryans hired a juggernaut coordinator who’s never done it before and developed a RoTY QB and made the playoffs , where Kliff Kingsbury was recently fired. Try it keep up buddy!
  17. Assuming you aren’t being sarcastic I’ll answer, tho I suspect you are: No, hiring the best assistant from the Shanahan tree wouldn’t be nepotism if done right. Mike Shanahan staffs are in Miami, San Fran, LA, Cincinnati, Green Bay, and Minnesota. Scheduling 3-5 real interviews to determine maturity, plan, and terminology should’ve been the plan. From there pick the best man where vision and personality align. Now if Kyle Shanahan called Dan Quinn via the food ole days in Atlanta and said “Hey, I’ve got this kid in Kubiak that’ll be great for your offense,” and he’s wink wink hired after a couple quick interviews then yes, that would be nepotism. Hope this answers your question.
