  1. Daniels is a much better passer than Jackson was coming out. He's a legitimate pocket passer while also having exceptional mobility.
  2. The only exception to this is Hyatt. The point value on redemption is insane. And they transfer from Chase, so like you said definitely get a Chase card(Chase also transfers to United as well). I got a Marriott Boundless Bonvoy strictly because our wedding was at a Marriott, so we used that card to pay the hotel itself, which got us enough points for 5 nights at the Ritz Carlton in Maui. Other then that though I agree with you, hotel cards aren't ideal.
  3. I'm fine with bringing him along slowly and I think we'll attempt to do that. Kingsbury talked about doing things Daniels is comfortable with, and we went out and got reliable veterans like Ekeler and Ertz that he can fall back on for cheap and easy check downs to get him into a habit of throwing them(in college their offense's checkdown was him running for the most part). As he develops confidence and the game slows down for him, we can throw more at him.
  4. Luck actually played quite well as a rookie. Threw quite a few picks but he racked up yards and showed clear signs of being elite. Allen struggled, but you could see flashes. I think now more than ever young guys can come in and look at least pretty good right away. But I agree I'm not gonna sit here and expect Daniels to be as good as Stroud or even our own RG3.
  5. There is no chance Dallas lets him walk and they'd never trade him to a division rival. Lets stop the non sense.
  6. Anytime you land a blue chip potential elite franchise QB you should be excited. If that doesn't get you hyped up then you probably need to pick a different hobby.
  7. And we'll send them home in tears.
  8. I was afraid that Daniels might be a bit too obsessed with social media presence and all that but it seems like he's actually more of a workaholic nerd that is obsessed with football. Traits you want in your QB.
  9. Wylie is mostly average. The problem is when he loses a rep, he loses BAD. Its not like some guys where they lose a rep but still put up a fight. Wylie's losses are awful and often result in just instant pressure because he just straight up whiffs or stumbles or something.
  10. Yeah this year was about getting reliable targets for Daniels. Ekeler and Ertz as vets, but also guys like Sinnott and McCaffery in the draft. That and beefing up the defense so he won't have to throw the ball 40 times a game. Next year we shore up the OL, and then in year 3 we go and get that big name WR. Imagine Jefferson not being happy playing with McCarthy and wanting out....
  11. Teams with young QBs don't usually go for the splash veteran star WR until year 3. See Bills with Diggs, Dolphins with Hill, Eagles with Brown and even Bears with Moore(though Fields flamed out) as a few examples. Those types of WRs don't go to teams unless they're confident in the QB, which means the QB needs a year or two to show he's got some game.
  12. Ertz on 980 right now and raving about Daniels's talent and intangibles already.
  13. The coaching was so bad and the environment was awful with a coach who knew he was gone and was just running out the clock that I'm willing to give the young guys a pass essentially.
  14. Steelers should be in the QB purgatory group as well and the Colts should also be in the young QB tier.
  15. Ekeler balled out in the opener last year but then got hurt and had to play the rest of the season injured and on an absolute mess of a Charger team(they actually had worse coaching than us if we you can believe that). I'm excited to see what he can do if healthy.
  16. When we play the Bengals they'll be coming off a road SNF game in Kansas City, so it could be a trap game kinda thing. Of course, playing on MNF kinda eliminates some of the trap game aura I guess.
  17. 7-10. Strong competitive finish has us super optimistic for 2025.
  18. We are awful on nationally televised home games. Absolutely awful. On the road we're actually not terrible. Like .500 ish. But at home we're like probably under .200 and routinely lose by double digits. Its actually kinda ridiculous.
  19. Brutal start to the season. If we can begin 3-3 we're in good shape. Also, having to play a road game on the west coast coming off a road MNF game is absolutely brutal.
  20. I can't disagree. He was legitimately terrible last year. But sometimes the environment around you is so bad it just causes you to crater. I will say if anything last year proved Dotson is never going to be a true elite player. At best he'll be a good #2, because a true stud thrives no matter the situation.
  21. Can't wait for Pittman4two's analysis
  22. Confirmed: at Tampa in the opener and at Dallas in the finale. Week 2 hosting Giants and Week 9 at the Giants. Week 11 Thursday Night in Philly
  23. Week 17 being a home game means 18 is probably a road game. I think we end the season in Dallas. The only reason I can see with playing in Tampa being at 4 is to avoid the Florida heat, which is still super high in September.
  24. I like Jay Cool. Simple. But its gotta be organic and natural like the Hogs and the Posse were. I remember when ESPN tried to hype Patrick Mahomes as Showtime on MNF once and it was just awful and fizzled out completely.
