The Official "Marvel" Thread (Movies,Comics etc)

Yeah, and who was the missing person that brought Woo and Monica to Westview in the first place? Or was that just a Hayward setup to allow him to send Sword after Wanda? And also I didn't like that Darcy played a pretty big role in episodes 4-7 and then was reduced to a one-liner in the finale and she's gone. lol Maybe there's more to that but probably not. But really this whole show was Wanda's story and they nailed that pretty well and set up cool stuff for the future. -

The finale was pretty good. A few disappointments with it but overall enjoyed the show and the performances were great by Olsen, Bettany and Hahn. -

I'm starting to think this version of Quicksilver really is the Fox X-Men Quicksilver. Going back and watching the episode where he shows up, when Wanda opens the door it cuts back to the Sword base where you see Darcy running to the monitors and there's an alarm going off. An alarm like something's been breached. Makes me think him entering the hex caused it. And there's the question where's Dr Strange? I think the events of this show are happening same time as events of Dr Strange 2 and he's stuck in the multiverse and may have come across X-Men Quicksilver and sent him to get Wanda and then Agatha intercepted him with a mind control spell. -

My thinking is this show will end setting up Wanda, now the Scarlet Witch as a villian who's turned on humanity. I mean the people she trusted the most (Cap and Widow) are gone. Her Vision will be gone and her kids will probably be gone when the hex breaks. Only person left I guess is Clint who she had a connection with. She sure as heck doesn't trust Sword. Or maybe Strange will show up and tell her to knock it off because she's screwing up the universe which will play into that movie. Whatever they do I'm sure it'll be an emotional ending to the show from Wanda and Vision's stand point and not the happy ending she wants. I'm not 100% sure Agatha is a villian as much as she's just confused and afraid of Wanda's powers. Hayward might be the only real villian of the show. -

Nah this is the first time I think they've done it. I usually scroll through it to see. -

FYI there's a mid credit scene this episode. Another good one! -

The Joss Whedon cut was so forgettable that this version will probably play like new to me. Not that it was all Whedon's fault. -

It wasn't just losing Fisher, they moved their LG out to LT so it impacted more then one spot on the OL. That said the Bucs did a great job exploiting it. -

So are these Joker imagines new stuff they shot for the Snyder cut or was this stuff Snyder shot back when that was excluded? -
CEH looked fine to me. 64 yards on 9 carries and he looked fresh coming off late season injury. Doesn't matter if it was Swift or CEH though, Andy Reid still won't run the football. Which when you have the Bucs teeing off on your backup OL and playing two deep safety all day you might want to try something else. Not sure why the Chiefs used a 1st rd pick on a RB.

I assume Monica was briefed on what happened over the 5 years she was gone and maybe she felt if Marvel had shown up during IW she could have stopped the snap to begin with and Monica could have been there to say goodbye to her mother. But yeah, so many questions from this show. Monica said she knew someone and looked like she was about to text when they were talking about astrophysicists or something. Is it Reed Richards? Who's the missing person that brought Woo and Monica to West View to begin with? Woo referred to them as he. -
For the people worried about the compensation to trade for Watson, if you can make that trade you're getting a 25/26 year old already top 5 NFL QB who would likely be here for a decade. How many players on this current roster do you see being here that long? If I had to put money on it, Chase and Terry would be the only possible ones because they're young and appear to be franchise pillars. And maybe Tress since he's a punter Point is this type of move isn't a "SB or bust" move it's a franchise defining move that can make the WFT a year in and year out contender. Longshot that it happens because I'd put Miami/Jets in the drivers seat, but if a trade goes down Ron and Co need to put up their best shot. If Montez Sweat is included in a deal so be it. We likely won't be able to pay him and Chase in a couple years anyway.

McVay's good but I don't think he's the genius the media has made him out to be. You got people saying Goff can't read defenses and if that's the case then why did McVay sign off on that extension when Goff had another year and 5th year option year left on his rookie deal? Seems it's just finger pointing after mistakes and some injuries. And I don't see Stafford as a big upgrade. The Lions feasted on the Rams stupidity IMO.

Was Bill O'Brien a genius when he gave up a 2nd to get rid of Brock O's contract? Who gave Goff that big contract, someone not named Les Snead or McVay? I don't see much difference between Goff and Stafford. Stafford is probably slightly better but okay the Rams gave up two future 1st rounders and a 3rd for an older slightly better QB with a friendlier contract. But even with Goff's contract, after this year, he only has a think $15M in gurenteed money over the final 3 years and a reasonable avg so the Lions are positioned to do what they want with him. I think there's a bigger chance this trade puts the Rams in Texans territory and we're seeing that Scooby Doo meme in the coming years of McVay being unmasked to reveal it's BOB then we do seeing this trade put them over the top.
