With all due respect, and thanks for posting this, the 1991 Redskins CRUSHED the much ballyhooed, smack-talking Bills in Super Bowl XXVI. Outclassed them in every area of football. That 91 team is one of the top teams in NFL history, totally dominant season.

DYK....it took Reid 6 seasons to win the SB in KC.....His 21st season as a head coach!!!!! We need to give Quinn 21 seasons to prove himself.

Reid was 8-8 then 4-12 in his last two seasons as Eagles head coach. He has since gone on to be the best coach in the NFL.

Seems like it could've come down to Peters wanting to buy the groceries and Quinn was OK with that where other candidates may have wanted that control? Speculation on my part.

Good to know we spoke with BB. I have a feeling we'll be seeing him in Dallas by November 1st.

This could be why it might be good to hire a veteran head coach who can establish a process and stick to it having done it before. Quinn should be great at scheming defensively and hopefully is a great recruiter of free agent talent given his solid reputation across the league. Let's support him and give him a chance. He may just be our savior?

Agreed, same as if we were to hire Vrabel, although both could appear as settling because they weren't in the first wave of interviews. But, in the end, they could both be better than any candidate hired by every team who hired a HC this offseason.

I'd trust EB more with a veteran QB than I do with a young one. And he did not get glowing reviews dfrom the players. Brian Greise is the Niners QB coach...I'd look at him based on the way he's developed Purdy.

The Harbaugh brothers dad is still around? That could be the ultimate surprise.

What if Peters says this: "BB, the offer is 4 years, 60 mil with incentives...we pick the players collaboratively with me getting final say. You pick the coordinators."

What if he and Peters/Harris can reach a compromise? You would think BB is loving the #2 pick to get his own QB to quiet the doubters?

I hope ur right...6 years for a head coach who hasn't proven anything seems like too much. Gotta draw the line somewhere. How bout 4 years with a 2 year coach option if you make the playoffs in year 4 if not extended sooner by ownership?

How much damage could BB or MV do IF Peters did decide to give them a certain amount of control? We have SUCKED for 30 years, there are worse gambles than these two available guys. I hate BB but I want to win. He would give us a chance if the logistics could be worked out. Tom Brady was on Cowherd yesterday raving about BB, called him the best coach he's ever played for. Vrabel is a winner too. Maybe Harris should bite the bullet and at least talk to him? We are now scraping the bottom of the coaching barrel.... I'll bet BB is hating watching Andy Reid winning year after year....he has a ton of motivation.

Sounds like a good move not to give out a 6 year deal to an unproven 1st year head coach. McDonald has Geno Smith to work with. Good luck.
