You're jus venting, I've never been a fan of tanking, I didn't want to do this or give Beal his max before we did either one. The receipts are in this thread. We've gotten a pick deemed "worth the trouble of tanking". But now no one is there worth picking that high? So now What? ????...profit? We are better off cloning our own organs via stem cell research, pushing the limits of nature in a direction we probably shouldn't be messing with, even if it works, jus because that's what we got working right now. I'm also not buying our current societal constructs are ready for that kind of lifespan anyway...on a micro level it sounds interesting...on a macro level it could change more then we wanna admit to yet. Quality of life is important to me...I'm not interested in being a mix of machine and animal parts but still need a wheel chair to get around for another 200 years...sounds whack. Until they can address what causes aging in the first place, we're talking about cheating death in a way that could cost us more then jus dying. We're lucky our population is predicted to stabilize end of this century to give us a chance to be more efficient and less detrimental to this planet...tripling or quadrupling our average lifespan, no telling what impact that has. We currently die for a reason, we sure we want to live forever or jus afraid of dying? Those aren't the same thing.

You right. Honestly, I feel this proves my point even more, though. What is the Thunder if they don't have what is essentially an MVP candidate type player right now? Certainly not the #1 seed in the west, that's for damn sure. If you have to trade for one, so be it.

To package for someone to build around? Maybe. Ja? Spida? If we traded for Ja and convinced Mitchell to come here after player option, that at least be a nasty ass backcourt to build around. I cannot process using this pick on a player we already know won't be a difference maker. Makes me want to trade out of this draft and see what we can come up with next year. The current OKC approach I see us trying is only working because they at least nailed the SGA pick to build around.
