  1. My line of thinking is not to have Heinicke as QB1, I want to keep him as backup. I wonder if JDR would have a better defense if he hired the position coaches. He has to cook, he should hire the chefs
  2. If we can keep our skill guys healthy, Heinicke probably gets us to 9-10 wins. The schedule is a little easier and I expect Heinicke to get a little better with a year starting behind him.
  3. That’s not on Heinicke though. As you said , they dropped the ball. If we had to go into the season with Heinicke as QB1, we would survive. It isn’t ideal but having an organization that DOESN’T drop the ball would really help.
  4. Heinicke is a great value as a QB. He’s just not a starter, he needs more things to go right for him to succeed. That’s why he’s ok, he would be a high value backup.
  5. We’re fine if Heinicke is back as a bridge. You could keep Gilbert around as your 3rd. No reason to draft 2 QB
  6. I’m on the Sam Howell train for 2022 first rd pick. Looks to be a clone of Josh Allen.
  7. If you believe in Mac Jones as a QB1, then you have to believe something is wrong with our evaluation process. Jones drafted 15th and we just needed to move up 5 spots. Our scouting said HE WASNT WORTH IT. We need better coaches!
  8. I seriously wonder if anyone on this board saw the Dallas game. We couldn’t block them, couldn’t tackle them, we couldn’t run with them. So your solution is to bring back the same guys that couldn’t get it done. We need better players. Allen,Payne, Sweat McLaurin all should be traded. We need better DL, we need better OL. We lack speed and size everywhere on this roster. The traded players gives us more chances to get the right guys on the roster. Its going to hurt short term, but we don’t have enough NFL talent on this team.
  9. Everything about that was arm strength. He can’t get it where it needs to go because he lacks arm strength.
  10. So true. By the time he figures out how to be a decent RB , his contract will be ending. Next year we need to find a REAL lead runner and Patterson isn’t it either.
  11. Gibson is not a true RB. I don’t understand why we are trying to make a WR into a lead runner. Hundreds of RB in college football and fringe NFL players would be better than this experiment.
  12. If all you see is no sacks from Chase, you’re not a real football fan. Chase young is a beast of a player, and that’s even with the lack of sacks. He is definitely on offense coordinator minds.
  13. Never understood why people think the referees don’t matter. THEY DO! I have seen some truly horrible calls made by referee’s AND held up on replay. The replay system of confirming a refs call and not caring if the call is right or wrong matters.
  14. Did you not see Ryan faking a throw? Chase did what was expected, try to knock the ball down. By doing that he wasn’t in the right position for a sack, he hit him in the shoulder. The Atlanta coaches started yapping and after a minute, they threw a flag. They should never be allowed to referee a game again.
  15. The only thing Chase did was go for the ball fake. He was trying to stop a pass, when he didn’t throw the ball he was almost by him. Didn’t come close to a roughing the passer call. Hit was to his shoulder.
  16. I think you have never 👎 played a down of football . Absolutly nothing was wrong with Chase on that play. Did his job!
  17. Ryan was faking the pass, Chase was trying to defend a pass, then ran by him. The hit was his shoulder…..not roughing anything.
  18. He sucks. Old style football, trying not to lose and not trying to win.
  19. Harbaugh just said Dobbins only had 23 plays this preseason. He got hurt. Just move on.
  20. Look at their record. What they do works. That's why coaches coach and players play. It's pretty irrelevant what the players think about when they should play, coach decision. Until it doesn't work they're going to keep doing and keep playing just like this.
