    It was within the last 5 years. When it happened to us, it’s just a live ball. I’ve never in my life seen the referees have an excuse to return a fumbled ball. Tonights game was an exact copy of what happened to us, but surprise surprise, they upheld it. Very frustrating watching our team seemingly have to play against another team and the referees.

    Does anyone recall the game when we recovered a punt after we blocked someone into the returner? The referees gave the ball back to the receiving team because the guy was blocked into him. I’m pretty sure it was the Cowboys. Are referees making up rules to destroy us because of the hatred for Snyder?

    Just talked to my younger brother and he says he’s done. Hasn’t watched any games since opening day. He told me he doesn’t like how he feels watching games. I’m sure there are lots of fans that feel the same way.

    We need a better play caller/ play designer. It seems 90% of these plays have no chance of succeeding. He can’t consistently get the ball to Terry. Cooper Krupp gets 12 balls a game and everyone knows he’s getting it. McVay designs great plays for him.

    Our kicker has to make that kick 99-100, he sucks .

    No it wasn’t, he never got his hands on it. Our DB’s are always out of position

    The damn referees gave him the catch at the goal line….. how? He landed out of bounds.

    Our defense sucks, they dropped that first down throw and it wasn’t that difficult of a play.

    I’ve come to the conclusion, we don’t have people that want to play football. They want the money, but they don’t want to do what’s necessary to win games.

    If they intercept that and return it, it’s 2 points.

    We have the slowest defensive players in football, and the worse tacklers I have ever seen.

    No need to reread anything. You want Wentz to fail so we can draft the next great prospect. I want to fix the team. Resign Wentz to a lower contract and bolster the lines an secondary. We don’t need a QB, yet.

    If I’m understanding you, you’re hoping that Wentz doesn’t play outstanding football , so we can move on to our next QB, is that right? Instead of helping the QB we have let’s actively sabotage him so we can get a better draft pick. I mean I’ve seen this franchise do this to several QB over the years. Didn’t work then, it’s not going to work now. Cant we do this better this time?

    So you think if we just had that 1 QB like Peyton manning it would fix 30 years of dysfunction? We need to build the team the right way. We need to lose the right way. When Ron got here, he said all the right things about team building. Then he abandoned them in 4-5 weeks, this is where we are. We need to add talent especially on the lines and secondary. Qb isn’t fixing those holes.

    To think there is no talent to be had in the 10-17 range is part of the problem. Give me the 1st pick this year and I’ll turn it into 3 starting lineman and a starting CB prospect. I would redo Wentz contract, drop his number in half. Sign a couple of LB in FA. This is how we move forward. Blowing the whole thing up again is just wasting more time. The big difference is not letting Ron pick anything.

    Look what Philly did with Hurts, they stuck it out for a 1 1/2 years. Built other parts of their team and now unbeaten. We lack patience and commitment to do anything correctly but a quick fix.

    This is always going to be a problem with Snyder. I’m thinking a young assistant, that is a superior coordinator .

    Watched that play 10-15 times. The defense played it extremely well. Terry letting his man bump him off his route and never being a threat to catch the ball contribute to the tight window. Still the play lacked depth and any deception, it was a blah play with the game on the line.

    This should be what we are doing. If a team has OL on their PS we should be poaching. Trai Turner is sunk cost.

    How many teams are paying their starting QB more than Wentz and have a better roster? Seems to me just another excuse from Ron on his below level roster. He shouldn’t be our GM, he shouldn’t be the coach either.

    I’ve never said Dan hasn’t played his part but Ron is picking the groceries and they are past expiration date, and he’s cooking with it. That’s RON!
