  1. Despite the shots on the board, Carolina needed puck luck to get that puck in our net and keep it out of theirs.
  2. Yeah, there was a clear trip on Jensen, I believe it was, not too long before.
  3. What the hell happened? I saw the Caps get a PP, then my stream died. Finally got a stream up and the Caps were on the PK getting scored on.
  4. Ovechkin with #850 earlier in the game. Two to go to hit 30 for the season, I believe.
  5. Was looking to try to grab him. Not ultra productive, but the tape shows a guy who's got potential. Needs to learn a few counter moves to get off blocks and he can be dangerous. Problem right now is that when the line gets hands on him, he simply can't beat the block. But add some counter moves like a spin to his repertoire and he might see a big jump in effectiveness.
  6. Yeah, I'd probably drink until I felt nothing if I lived in Tennessee, too.
  7. With the 169th pick of the draft, the Green Bay Packers select: Kitan Oladapo, S, Oregon State Oladapo is a decently sized Safety at 6'2", 216 pounds. Above average size matched with average speed with a 4.58s 40 yard dash. With his height and reach, should be an option to cover Tight Ends. I like his play in-the-box in run support; packs some decent wallop to his hits, and I've seen some nice iron-grip wrap-ups on plays that I think others would have been run through. He'll compete with Cole Bishop and the returning Anthony Johnson for the Strong Safety position opposite McKinney, and I expect him to earn a spot on a couple Special Teams units.
  8. For states that have more than 1 district, is it wrong for them to throw all of the state's electoral college votes to the party that won the state's popular vote even if your district voted for someone else? Isn't it going against the will of the people to have their district throw its vote to somebody that did not win the district?
  9. Popping in from my phone to inform y'all that you blew up my draft board, so I won't be able to pick until I get home and look it over.
  10. Wake me up when the UN does something beyond wagging their finger. And no, it is not "technically" on the right side. Would we be "technically" on the right side to support NAZIs because they're fighting against French Resistance terrorists? We are actively supporting Ukraine. We're sending them weapons and intelligence to fight back. We're issuing sanctions hurting Russia's ability to wage war; to the point they're stealing ****ing washing machines to scavenge computer chips because they can't buy them to make their weapons. And now they have to rely on ****ing North Korean weaponry. Because we're actually doing something tangible against Russia. Unlike Israel where we tell them we'd like them to please stop committing genocide, and then turn around and give them more weapons to continue committing genocide.
  11. Did you guys down in D.C. feel the earthquake, or just us up north in the PA/NJ region?
  12. We protest against Israel because nobody's doing anything about them. The government is already on the right side of the Ukraine war.
  13. ? There's one pick per quoted post that I responded to.
  14. Damn, I was planning on moving up to grab him. Dang it, had him circled, too.
  15. Anyone notice that Ovechkin's shot knocked the stick out of the goalie's hand on the way into the net?
  16. I disagree with your assessment that Trump is an isolationist. He just wants to isolate from functioning democracies. He cozies up to fascist despots.
  17. With the 126th pick of the draft, the Green Bay Packers select Isaac Guerendo, RB, Louisville Guerendo is a pretty sizeable RB standing at 6'0" 221 Pounds. And he's incredibly athletic posting an eye-popping 4.33s 40-yard dash, 41.5" vertical leap, and 10'9" broad jump. When given a hole to run through, he hits it fast and can make guys miss at the next level. With his elite speed, he can beat defenders to the outside on sweeps and use size to stiff-arm DBs to keep them at bay as he rounds the corner and turns up field along the side-lines. He can be an effective 3rd down back as he's a capable protector for his QB, and is an effective receiver out of the backfield. He could use a little work adding some more slippery change-of-direction moves to his repertoire, as he usually sticks to the trusty stiff-arm and his rocket-boosters to outrun defenders, and maybe some work improving his power in short-yardage situations.
  18. This round was way too fast. I just picked last night. Gonna take me a bit to figure out my pick.
  19. That was quite the RB run after being completely ignored for until the tail end of the 3rd round.
  20. Well that wasn't our best game of the season.
  21. With the 91st pick of the draft, the Packers select Dominick Puni, OL, Kansas Packers love to draft College Left Tackles to play every position on the offensive line. Dominick Puni is another such lineman trusted to protect his QB's blind side, but his build translates better to a move to slide inside to Guard with his arms a bit shorter than ideal for Tackle. But he put up some great agility measurables in the combine which tend to translate very well. His 4.40s Shuttle is elite, and his 7.47s 3-cone-drill is also shows for a very high level lateral agility. I expect Puni to come in and compete for the starting RG job. Even if he doesn't win the job, he should provide high-level depth across the line.
