  1. If I'm the owners of the other teams... Snyder is my favorite. His franchise went from $800 million to $3+ billion while it hasn't won squat. Not only is it making money, but it's more often than not a soft spot on my teams schedule. I BELIEVE their tune will change once sponsorship money comes under fire. If these parties start rallying to the big name sponsors for supporting the team, then the owners tune may change... which I think inevitably happens.
  2. The lawyer was on the radio this morning saying as many as 'a dozen' more people have come to her wanting to tell their stories. This is all calculated. It is no accident that this story dropped on a day where no practice was scheduled, so EVERYTHING that was reported about team came back to this story. It's also no accident that this is all going down when the team finally changed its name and fan support is on its thinnest ice. There are some powerful things or people at work here, and it's a calculated movement with likely the ONLY outcome being Snyder no longer owning the team. There are likely more and more pieces of evidence that will continue to flow out as the previous story seemingly dies down until the ultimate goal is reached.
  3. I hate to say it but I have to agree with you. Their strength on defense is their front 7 if they can stay healthy. The good news is that their secondary is a giant question mark. Diggs looks to be a stud, but he's still a rookie with no offseason. They are going to have get beat on 1st and 2nd down. 3rd and long all game could be a nightmare.
  4. what if you take your shoes out and fill it with pencils... is it then a pencil box, or does it retain it's original purpose?
  5. yeah you guys are right, it's hard. Va doesn't really outline the same way other states do like Alaska... which this would clearly fall under. States Summaries of Law Penalties Alaska (29 SLA § 11.61.123) A person is guilty of indecent viewing if he knowingly views or produces a picture of the genitals, anus, or female breasts of another person without consent. Class A misdemeanor if the subject is an adult and a class C felony if the subject is a minor. Delaware (11 De. Code Ann. § 1335) A person is guilty of violation of privacy when he (1) trespasses on private property intending to subject anyone to eavesdropping or other surveillance or (2) installs in a private place, without consent, any device for observing, photographing, recording, amplifying, or broadcasting sounds or events in that place Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to one-year imprisonment and a $2,300 fine.
  6. I wasn't tryin to come off like a counselor i'm sorry, just trying to have a conversation. They would presumably be a non-consenting person if they were not aware of video regarding exposed areas of their bodies that are not intended. They likely were consenting to photography that was outlined prior to the shoot and what would be expected. Accidental nudity likely was not a part of that. I don't know. I have to imagine that there is legal precedent to prevent someone from holding onto video of someone that exposed parts of their body that was not intended, even if it happens in the act of another 'photoshoot.' How they link it to Snyder is hard to say, but if people come forward saying he was the one that ordered these, then there has to be some sort of intent to find out the validity of it. The crime may have happened that you referenced.
  7. ACTUALLY.... voyeurism is a crime. It is defined in different ways in different states, and this is how it's defined in VA Voyeurism Introduction A victim could press charges for voyeurism if another person enters their property and secretly or furtively peeps, spies, or attempts to peep or spy into or through a window, door or other aperture under circumstances that would violate the victim’s reasonable expectation of privacy. A victim could also press charges for voyeurism when another uses a peephole or other aperture to secretly or furtively peep, spy, or attempt to peep or spy into one of several enumerated public places for the purpose of viewing any nonconsenting person who is nude or undressing. Text of Statute(s) Va. Code Ann. § 18.2-130 – Peeping or spying into dwelling or enclosure. A. It shall be unlawful for any person to enter upon the property of another and secretly or furtively peep, spy or attempt to peep or spy into or through a window, door or other aperture of any building, structure, or other enclosure of any nature occupied or intended for occupancy as a dwelling, whether or not such building, structure or enclosure is permanently situated or transportable and whether or not such occupancy is permanent or temporary, or to do the same, without just cause, upon property owned by him and leased or rented to another under circumstances that would violate the occupant's reasonable expectation of privacy. B. It shall be unlawful for any person to use a peephole or other aperture to secretly or furtively peep, spy or attempt to peep or spy into a restroom, dressing room, locker room, hotel room, motel room, tanning bed, tanning booth, bedroom or other location or enclosure for the purpose of viewing any nonconsenting person who is totally nude, clad in undergarments, or in a state of undress exposing the genitals, pubic area, buttocks or female breast and the circumstances are such that the person would otherwise have a reasonable expectation of privacy. C. The provisions of this section shall not apply to a lawful criminal investigation or a correctional official or local or regional jail official conducting surveillance for security purposes or during an investigation of alleged misconduct involving a person committed to the Department of Corrections or to a local or regional jail. D. As used in this section, “peephole” means any hole, crack or other similar opening through which a person can see. E. A violation of this section is a Class 1 misdemeanor. To go further.. this is the definition in Alaska... A person is guilty of indecent viewing if he knowingly views or produces a picture of the genitals, anus, or female breasts of another person without consent.
  8. I hope you're right about the getting it done part. I'm nervous. I really hope you're right about Martin. It would be a big win if he can beat out Schweitzer and take over LG for us. Schweitzer isn't anything special but I believe we brought him in to start unless someone in camp shows out... and Martin beating him would mean he showed out.
  9. I wouldn't hate that at all. If nothing else he gives you more vet leadership than Sprinkle. 1 year deal, 2nd year team option...
  10. I've been hearing rumblings about Baugh and I'm really interested in Hentges and if he can progress from some positives last year.
  11. Don't hate it... i wasn't necessarily looking at flat line speed as much as i was picturing the scene in Top Gun when Maverick shows up to the fight at the end of the movie and there are planes buzzing around in all directions. It would be hard for a defense to be able to anticipate who is going where.
  12. Ive seen depth charts with Kerrigan at OLB and Anderson at DE. I know none of them are anything more than speculation so we likely wont know much til week 1.
  13. This is not directed as you, but more to elaborate on this whole thing It's so frustrating that people feel the need to move on a player because they don't live up to their 'draft position.' That's the whole 'don't cut off your nose to spite your face' saying. So if we take a guy in the 1st round who happens to end up being a 3rd round talent, do we move on, not only giving up a 1st round pick, but also a 3rd round valued player? Just because they didn't 'live up' to their draft position? That's a double negative. If we over draft a player that's still a contributor, we can't let that blurry the fact that we have a contributor on the team. Ryan Anderson is a perfect example of that. He may not be worth a 2nd round pick... but he's also not the 54th rated player on the team either. Do we move on from him and hold onto a 6th rounder because they're playing 'above' their draft value... but they're not actually better than Anderson? To bring this back together, I think this is a lot more about what you reference regarding a systemic reason that we end up getting talented players, but they're not true game changers. I think the people making the picks have struggled with evaluating talent to fit the scheme that we're committing to, instead grabbing a player that they think is the most talented, and trying to force fit them into what we want. Preston Smith and Brian Orakpo are examples of that. Ryan Kerrigan to an extent is an example of that. Kerrigan routinely finds himself rushing up field out of position on running plays. He's a very effective pass rusher, and we want him to rush the passer, but the scheme and coaching often finds him out of position. Josh Norman was at his best in Carolina when he had an effective pass rush and he would read and react... we paid him a ton of money and put him on an island... not addressing our D-line until Norman had already been labelled a problem. Meanwhile we draft Bashaud Breeland and let him leave to get paid $880k in GB, then $2m in KC and get a ring while we're paying . Austin Reiter, won a ring in KC starting a C... a position that we've had in flux for 20 years that a lot of Redskins fans labeled a bust, and a JAG. Sorry to go off into left field but I feel that this does pertain to Chase Young. He's the most talented, highest upside player we've drafted since Sean Taylor or Trent Williams. A couple players like that bring the effectiveness of Anderson, Allen, Payne, and Sweat up a couple levels. Those guys may ultimately be 'high floor, low ceiling' guys, but when you get elite pieces, everyone's else's ceiling can be lower and still be effective. I think Rivera and Kyle Smith understand that. Taking Gibson and AGG show me that. Those are 2 high upside guys at skill positions...
  14. I think this is the right place to put this... Not my dream group but they could have done worse.
  15. I just hope the 'on the move' is to build on what he did last year. I dont see Rivera / Turner turning us into a QB running team, so i'm not worried about that.. What i want to see more of from him is this: and all of this please... https://www.nbcsports.com/washington/video/steven-sims-jr-has-career-day-two-touchdown-catches
  16. If Haskins can be effective against this D-line, it bodes really well going into the season for not only him, but our O-line. Unfortunately we dont have the preseason, but practicing against our front 7 is about as good as you can get given the circumstances.
  17. Reading her thread it was in the midst of reporting on Haskins' presser, so I assume it was him and not an O-lineman.
  18. Was going to say the same thing regarding Sims. Can you imagine the speed if you have Mclaurin and Sims outside, Gibson in the slot, and Love and Mckissic in a 2 back set? I wouldn't do it often as you only give yourselves 5 down lineman, but talk about the ability to spread out a defense.
