This is exactly my point. Disney is going to make Star Wars the movie versions of Nickelback.

Yeah, but you know, that's annoying in the sense of with the prequels or Rogue One, yes, we know how the story ends. But why does that have to ruin it? I like the details. I like knowing how they got there. I realize many don't. I don't think the Han Solo movie is a good idea because Harrison Ford IS Han Solo and I don't see how you can fix that. But Rogue One sounded amazing from the leaks. Vader beheading people like crazy, ultra violence... That's what I want. Exactly. I didn't hate TFA, but I was disappointed. I have strong hopes that EPVIII is going to be amazing. I trust the director more than Abrams (whom I'm a big fan of, but he just played it too safe IMO). The leaks from EPVIII sound incredible as well. I'm just not a Disney fan overall.

I know some won't agree, but I thing long term, Disney is going to run SW into the ground. They have their formula that they will stick to to make everything safe. Personally, I hate that. From the leaks regarding Rogue ONE, it sounded completely Dark and BadAss, and I can see why Disney would be scared. Screw them. Look at the Marvel movies. They were cool at first but ultimately, they are predictable and as each one has been released, I've liked them less and less.

Lots of media outlets are reporting that Rogue One is in trouble, that it didn't screen well and Disney is forcing the director to reshoot (which is normal) and change things up. I have a bad feeling that the movie WAS going to be completely badass, but it didn't fit Disney's "Formula". Wow...

I've never contributed to this thread but I figured I should add 2 things because my son is such a fan. 1. Chicken breast marinated in Olive Garden salad dressing. Pretty amazing. 2. Spaghetti with Cream Cheese added to the sauce. After browning the ground beef and draining it, I add the sauce and some spices etc... then as its on the stove, I add the cream cheese and let it melt in, then I mix it up.

Yes. I defaulted by accident. I didn't know that I had 11 student loans. They were all broken up. When the collection agency called and sent the paperwork to garnish my wages, which would have caused me to lose my house etc.. I wrote a letter to Mark Warner and the other senator in Va. Warner's office replied within 2 days. They wrote a letter to the department of education and within 2 weeks, my loans were consolidated.

My dad was a boxing fan. I have given boxing a chance previously, but personally, I find it extremely boring and also, IMO, it seemed as if all the hype was generated artificially. It seemed to me that ESPN was paid to talk about it, promote it etc... I also feel that people were suckered into buying it. I wouldn't watch boxing for free, let alone pay for it, UNLESS they put Mayweather up against 1000 battered women with baseball bats. I'd watch that.

Exactly. From Thanksgiving to New Year, I had more free time. My son's football and baseball was over, no HS coaching during that time etc... Now, I'm starting to get more busy again. I have 5 weeks of HS conditioning for my team and my son's travel team starts this week as well. Free time is starting to dwindle until summer.

I have done this. I watch a lot less. I find myself gaming much more than watching tv overall.

The only thing that sucks is that I get the basic tv package in HD for free. I just pay for my internet service. They threw in the TV package. By the time I pay 10 for HBO and 20 for espn, I may as well have just paid the 100 dollars for the more advanced cable package. They get you one way or another.

Yes, So far, I like it. First show in a while that I felt compelled to keep watching.

I haven't had cable for about 4 years. I have Cox's premier internet and I get the "lifeline" channels at no cost. I don't get ESPN. I've found that I havent really missed it at all. Sometimes when a game is on MNF, I kind of wish I had it but it wears off quickly. I have an apple TV unit that I stream netflix and hulu plus through as well as the other apps. I like to watch the history channel app. I also have a lot of iTunes content. I mostly play games on the ps4 or play guitar. Sunday is usually my only tv day. Now that the baseball playoffs have started, and the O's, Nats and Royals are in, I'll be tuning in and playing Destiny on the Vita...

I finally binged watched Orange is the New Black... Not bad. Not my favorite show ever but I enjoyed it. The characters are so freaking dumb (by design). I guess that's why they are in jail...

I watched "the last ship" on TNT last night. I liked it. Will check it out next week for sure.

I totally get it. Everyone has different taste. I watched all of season one of Breaking Bad and just couldn't like it. I know I'm in the minority, but it wasn't for me.

Couldn't agree more KAOS. Love the mythology as well. The ending was outstanding IMO too.

My favorite 2 series of all time are Lost (which most have watched and love or don't ) and the other is the 2004 Battlestar Galactica. I love that series. There is so much that is awesome. I've seen it through 2 times. I just started it again this past weekend and we've been stuck in the snow, so almost through season 2.
