  1. GSP will beat Anderson by taking him down and holding him for 5 rounds. Styles make fights period and honestly I think Shields would do the same exact thing to Anderson. I've helped many of guys cut weight and its hard work when you got a guy just 10-15lbs over. I'd be willing to bet Anderson does'nt walk around at anywhere near 230lbs LIKE STATED ABOVE, especially fighting 2/3 times a year. He loses alot of his defintion and looks pudgy at 205lbs in his 2 fights. Go look at pictures from both weigh-ins he is'nt adding any good weight. He probably trains getting ready for the fights at around 205lbs in fact I believe he weighed in like Hendo does a few lbs under 205 for both his fights. If he is indeed walking around starting training camps at 215-220lbs he is dieting throughout his camp which is retarded he might as well move to 205lbs. I believe that GSP,Shields and Bones Jones would take him down and control him. I think the most exciting fight would be him and Bones at 205lbs.
  2. Why then GSP would lay on Diaz for 5 rounds. GSP fights and gameplans to win even if its boring I knew this fight would stay standing. The Serra fight caused GSP to fight this way he does'nt take chances anymore and just fights to win.
  3. I agree, my only comparison really was that both are far from competing for anything meaniful, championships. If they were 1 piece away I could see maybe reaching for a postion of need but at this point both teams should be drafting BPA. I'm just a big Best player available guy over positions of need unless they are ranked fairly close on your board.
  4. Brandon Knight can play the 2 as well he is a big PG with long arms like Wall but he is stronger also a much better man defender. He is gonna be a star nobody on the Wizards roster will keep him off the court. He will be a better pro then NY and JC who I both like and fully support. I love the trio but I just don't believe in drafting a position of need over the BPA thats how you miss on the Jordans etc. It stinks so many guys returned to school because this draft is very weak at the top. I think this team has young potential but other then Wall the other guys are just that.
  5. I know the difference between football and basketball I played both. Your missing my point though both teams have huge holes and are along way from competing for anything. Bismack I watched in one game and some youtube video's its really not enough out there for me to fairly judge him. Kanter to me is a plodder and this team needs to be uptempo with the way its currently constructed. I love the Wizards back court with NY and JC but honestly is that a championship back court? Thats a huge question mark anybody can put up numbers with bigtime minutes AND SHOTS but NY struggled up until this year getting any meaniful minutes and JC could'nt sniff the court for a playoff team in ATL. My point is this I think Irving, Knight and Kembo will make a bigger impact then NY or JC ever will. Those 3 guys have all star potential and I honestly like Knight more then Irving. I'm not worried about minutes because the best players will play. If this team has 2 all star PG's that is serious trade bait to go after a bigtime star at a postion of need when were ready to take that next step.
  6. The Skins have young studs as well Orakpo,Landry, Williams etc. That was'nt my point anyway, i'm trying to say the have holes everywhere and need to draft BPA period regardless of it being a PG or any other position. I'd much rather have 2 young stud PG's then Wall and a bunch of potential. If you got a sure thing it can be parlayed in a trade for a bigtime piece. I think there is a very good chance that Knight or even Kembo will be BPA. I'd rather draft them then reach on a big man.
  7. I think this team is gonna have to draft BPA regardless of postion. Even a guy like Knight who will be a NBA star and put UK on his back at times. The kid can go anywhere he wants with the ball and can shoot at will. He is a guy who can steal minutes at the 2 and he plays defense. I think he has bigtime potential and it would'nt shock me a bit if he ended up better then Wall especially in the halfcourt. He will be a bigtime piece we can use as trade bait once he shows his ability or even Crawford. This is another stud the Calipari just shot out. I like Terrence Jones alot as well for a 18 year old the kid rebounds, blocks shots and can shoot. I'm staying away from the Euro's i'm not impressed with Kanter at all he looks like a slow plodder with injury questions. This team needs young bigtime athletes who have the potential to develop into superstars that can be parlayed into something much bigger or kept for the long run. The Wizards are like the skins very talent depleted and need to draft the BPA everytime.
  8. That would be my favorite matchup both can bang, both have great chins and both are BJJ black belts. I'd still put my money on BJ to win the fight but it would end up being a very entertaining standup war. Nick is one of my favorite fighters to watch because he fights. But the reality is he is'nt gonna beat the top tier WW in the UFC consistently enough to be a champion. The level of competition from Daley, KJ Noons,Cyborg,Mayhem,Scott Smith's of the world is alot different then fighting Fitch,BJ, KOS,Alves etc.
  9. We all know they will never fight. I don't think we will see Diaz or Shields getting submitted anytime soon. The difference is those guys GSP, Shields can take you down and hold you winning via lay-n-pray. If Shields can't take GSP down he will be ko'd because GSP is gonna keep this fight standing. Shields strikes like a girl and with the camp GSP is in they will fight to his weakness. I don't think Nick has a chance againest GSP. I could also see him losing very easily to BJ, Alves, Kos and Fitch. Lets be real the competition level he has faced in strikeforce is nowhere near UFC top fighters.
  10. x2, atleast until he gets hopefully back to the UFC but thats not a done deal with him and Dana's past. I'd love to see Nick vs BJ at 170.. Even Alves would be a interesting matchup. I think his wrestling is what will keep him from winning the UFC belt. ---------- Post added April-10th-2011 at 04:19 AM ---------- Shields is alot stronger and alot better wrestler then Diaz. Shields would beat Diaz if they ever fought because he would take him down at will. Thats why Nick has no chance of beating a GSP.
  11. I got Jardine beating Mousasi. I think Nick better get it to the ground but you know he is gonna stand and try to prove a point. It would'nt shock me at all if he knocks Daley out or subs him. With all that said i'm going Daley with a brutal left hook to end the fight.
  12. Don't waste your time I think most of us that watch every wizard game can tell the difference between the casual fan.
  13. I have no problem going with Crawford, although I don't agree, but don't resign Young if the decide to go that route. NY is a pure 2 guard and a better 2 guard then Crawford. Wall is what he is I don't think he will ever develop into no bigtime shooter. He has been a suspect shooter and been working on it every summer i'm sure just like Rondo. I just hope he can develop a reliable mid range game and the ability to knock down some 3's occasionally. Wall being aggressive is not just shooting more to me. I think he needs to just attack more he puts so much pressure on the defense when he goes into aggressive mode. He needs to run at every chance and constantly attack off the dribble setting up kickouts and easy backets. I'd much rather him be Derrick Rose then Paul. I don't think the casual fan realizes the amount of pressure Rose puts on the defense and how truly good he is playing. Derrick Rose is quickly becoming the best PG in the NBA in my opinion and will only improve.
  14. I absolutely never want Wall on the court with the ball outta his hands. He should never play off the ball his shot needs to much work. I just wish Wall had that aggressive nature to his game and constantly attacked because when he does he is outstanding. With Crawford starting at the 2 guard everything has to be off the dribble lots of 1 on 1 and transition. He has no real ability to shoot off screens like NY. ---------- Post added April-2nd-2011 at 03:24 PM ---------- I think he is so much better with the ball in his hands playing PG last night was a good sample of that. Thats the problem for me Wall should never be without the ball. Crawford should be the primary backup at PG and also get big minutes at the 2 guard behind Young. I think its a promising sign that Crawford did have a good collegiate shooting %.
  15. The injury might help with his value earlier this year he was playing so lights out I figured 7-8million per would be the starting point. Crawford is a shot jacker though no doubt and has horrible shooting percentages for a guard sub 40%. I think playing the 6th man role is perfect for him with his aggressive nature. Here are his Wizards numbers playing 31mpg Season Team G GS MPG FG% 3p% FT% OFF DEF RPG APG SPG BPG TO PF PPG 10-11 ATL 16 0 10.0 0.351 0.333 0.667 0.6 1.2 1.8 0.9 0.2 0.0 0.9 0.8 4.2 10-11 WAS 19 11 31.6 0.393 0.232 0.850 0.9 2.3 3.2 3.7 1.5 0.2 2.6 1.7 16.2 here are NY's Season Team G GS MPG FG% 3p% FT% OFF DEF RPG APG SPG BPG TO PF PPG 10-11 WAS 64 40 31.8 0.441 0.387 0.816 0.4 2.3 2.7 1.2 0.7 0.3 1.4 2.2 17.4 NY has a 44% fg and 38% 3 ball which is outstanding for a volume shooting 2 guard. He shoots as good from 3 land then Crawford does from the field.
  16. Wade is a rare specimen and was a animal in college. Wade has always played big and very well off contact his strenght was there in college. Wade also stole alot of his minutes at PG early on. Crawford has no chance againest good 2 guards and most of the guys are the main scorers on there teams. Crawford has a very aggressive nature to his game that is perfect to be the 6th man plus he can play both spots. NY can't play PG like Crawford. I'd love our back court next year if its Wall/Young with Crawford being the 3rd guard off the bench. Those 3 guys can lockdown all the guard minutes and play 30 minutes plus because NY will probably steal a few more minutes at the 3. If we are'nt starting NY then he will be let go because he is gonna command a decent sized contract. NY is a much better player when given starter minutes and allowed to get into the flow of the game.
  17. There is no way Crawford starts over NY at the off guard spot. NY is bigger, better defender and a way more effcient scorer not only that but unlike Crawford he is a true OG. NY can shoot off screens and can get his shot againest anyone 1 on 1 off the dribble. Crawford is the true defintion of a combo guard he is a tweener 1/2 but can steal minutes at both spots. I honestly think he plays much better at the PG spot but should see minutes at both spots. Crawford also has a aggressive nature to his game which is perfect for that sparkplug 6th man role.
  18. x2, I would as well atleast till next seasons trade deadline. Blatche is immature but I think alot of people forget he is still very young at 24. He came straight outta high school so he did'nt even get that college expercience of growing up on his own. He has alot of tools and i'd like to give him atleast 1 healthy offseason to see how he plays next year. We are so young and his contract is very reasonable we can afford to wait atleast 1 more year for him. He needs to improve his effort no doubt but hopefully that comes.
  19. His defense has improved alot since his early days. Is he a lockdown defender, no i'm not saying that, but he is a good defender that can lockdown in stretches. That says alot with the way he was carrying the offense creating 1 on 1 and running around screens all game working hard on offense. Crawford is flatout to small to be a starting 2 guard playing big minutes. I think with a Wall/ NY1 back court with Crawford getting big minutes being the 3rd guard is perfect he can steal minutes at PG and OG. I honestly think he looks much better at PG in my opinion.
  20. No he is not againest 2 guards and its not even close. NY1 is a better 2 guard then Crawford by a mile, but what Crawford brings is the ability to play either spot. Crawford can come off the bench and be the backup PG and also get minutes at the 2 guard being a combo guard which is really what he is. Crawford can still get 30min a game next year off the bench and we've seen flip play NY at SF alot this year which would open up even more minutes.
  21. Crawford will be the 6th man and combo guard off the bench playing the 1 and 2. NY is a better defender and more effcient scorer also he is a true 2 guard he will start.
  22. Jones is a huge 205lb fighter he has to be damn near 220lbs on fight night. He looked like a giant next Shogun and Rashad,
  23. x2.. I knew he was gonna dominate Shogun. He is one of if not the most complete fighter in all of MMA at 23.
  24. Jon Jones is gonna dominate Shogun, that is all. I don't see how Shogun has any chance of keeping this fight standing.
  25. I love Henderson but its a different type of athlete from GSP and Hendo looked extremely outta shape in that fight I think the cut affected him. Not only that but he could'nt finish a clearly gassed Hendo, could'nt finish Jason Miller, and struggled bigtime looking horrible againest Martin Kampmann, honestly Kampmann was stuffing his takedown rather easily. Is Henderson really bigger then GSP he weighs in under 205 for all his fights there and has said he walks around about 200lbs. While GSP walks around and trains at 195lbs and i'd be willing to bet GSP is a hellva alot stronger then Hendo. GSP looks drained to me at 170lbs and honestly I feel he is a true 185lber and will be even more dynamic there whether he fights Anderson or not. Listening to Florian he said GSP plans to move to 185lbs permantely and put on another 15lbs to get up around 210lbs.
