Definitely, the Falcons are not built like a dome team, they are not the Vikes or Colts, bad weather will be a minimal factor for them imo.

Eagles, I love to hate you with everything I've got, BUT.....

Win the freaking game for the sake of the NFC East. Three years in a row you go the Big Game before the BIG Game as (whether I like it or not) an ambassador of my beloved division, and you blow it.

Win the game, and maybe even go ahead and win the big one, 'cause it's gonna be a long time before you get there again. ;)

This is the most important game for the Eagles since the Super Bowl against the Raiders 24 years ago. This team HAS to beat the Falcons and get over the hump in the NFC or I think the program could be in some trouble.

Remember the Eagles went off their draft pick-value free agent- modest salary formula this past offseason to bring Terrell Owens and Jevon Kearse into the fold just to win THIS game.

Owens won't be playing and Kearse had just 7.5 sacks in a year in which there were DTs who finished with 10.

What to make of the $18 million bonus to Kearse if the Eagles lose to Vick and the Falcons?

 what are you talking about now?

Kearse was not the same player in 2004 for the Eagles as he was in 1999 and 2001 for the Titans. Do you really feel the club got $18 million worth of value from his performances?

Look, the reason I say that is I look at the bonuses the Redskins have paid out to guys like Deion and Dana Stubblefield and then compared the bucks to the production and come to the conclusion the club could have done as well with other, younger, cheaper options.

Kearse is a pass rush specialist. He is not a two way DE in the traditional sense.

He does not do what Michael Strahan or Richard Seymour does for THREE downs in a given series.

I agree.....

This game is on his sholders more than any other defensive player this week for the Eagles.....

He needs to keep Vick inside......

He was a beast this year. Period. Easily our best defensive player.

Westbrook, it's futile. They'll string you along until they force you to flame one of them and then, the ban. the Iggles, if they had to, would have finished 15-1 in the regular season. I know, they suck. They would be an 8-8 team in the AFC. Right, sure. My prediction foir the Viking/Iggs game was 31-16, birds(the green ones). I've han MANY predictions here that were VERY close to the actual score. But I DON'T know JACK. I'm a tool.

That's bold.

That is bold! Kearse has been good this year, but at times, he has just been removed from the game either because of injury or offensive scheme changing. He seemed to disappear at times, but to be honest, he has been a force for most of the season.

I see you learned a lot from your timeout.

Maybe you're right. Maybe we SHOULDN'T 'string you along' and just get right to the point.

You guys get plenty of latitude. In fact, the last big thread blowup over treatment of Eagles fans on this site got a regular (he was a rabid Skins fan, not an eagle) banned permanently, and 2 other Skins fans gone temporarily.

We're more than fair to you guys.

Hey Nostradamus, Westbrook interjected himself into that conversation and initiated the name calling.

But isn't it nice when 'Skins & Eagle fans can agree? I think your a tool also.
