AlexRS Posted January 3, 2005 Share Posted January 3, 2005 imho the argument between "playmaking D" and "statistical D" is moot. Our D has been stopping people all year, forcing 3-and-outs. You can look at one or two big plays on D, and say YAY! That's a play-making D!! Or you can look at the overall effort. We have stopped people, forced sacks, and our offense almost always got the ball when we needed. Haven't been able to do much with it, but still. That's the reason why we don't have as many pro-ballers. Our defense is all business.
