Heath Shuler, hands down. This shouldn't even be a contest & by the results of the poll, Shuler is in the lead with almost 100 more votes than Brunell. He isn't even playing anymore, he was that bad. Yes, Brunell is by & large the worst we have RIGHT NOW, but to say he's the worst we have had in recent history is to forget Heath Shuler's pathetic play. I mean, he was beaten out for a starting job almost right out of TC by a guy making league minimum in Gus Frerotte, for cryin' out loud. What a bust he was.

Couldn't agree more myself. Shuler was so bad he brought me to tears. Brunell and Wuerful weren't much better, but then again, if you expected them to lead us to the playoffs, well....

Let's see just the wins, and maybe add Brunell and Ramsey as well, just to see where they fall as far as winning percentage.

Thanks, and just as I thought. Ramsey no more than a few points above the rest, and if I did the math, his INT looks to be higher than most. I'll wait to vote on this poll until the end of this season.

Okay. Looking at the Int's vs attempts, I got this. See if I did this right I'm sure.

D.W. 1 int for every 16 attempts. ( Danny, unfortunately, had a gunslinger mentality without the arm to back it up).

J.G. 1 int for every 35 attempts, ( He and mark obviously have just a few more attempts. That whole career thing).

H.S. 1 int for every 17 attempts.

M.B. 1 int for every 42 attempts.

P.R. 1 int for every 30 attempts.

For T.D.'s

D.W. 1/29

J.G. 1/26

H.S. 1/39

M.B. 1/26

P.R. 1/25

I hope no one out there have depression issues cause this question surely will not cheer them up; afterall, there have been so many horrible QB's. George and Brunnell were pathetic and Schuler sure gave them a run for their money. I have to think of it in terms if I had money on the opposing team against the point spread and then it would come down to George or Schuler.

I originally went with Shuler. But, thinking back a bit, and taking some circumstances into consideration, I want to change my vote to George.

Shuler - first, he alienated himself with the fans by holding out. Then he got thrown into games WAY before he should have. He never got caught up from the 2 weeks missed at training camp.

George - He always thought he knew better than the coach. Caught numerous times arguing with coaches on the sideline. Changed the play in the huddle; did not call the play that the coach sent in (and to think, as a kid, we all laughed at Dallas for not letting old whatisname call his own plays). Marty S., who stated that he could win so many games with ANY QB, cut him after 2 games. Two games, I might add, in which we got TOTALLY blown out. One on Monday night football (that game was so painful, I could hardly watch it).

So, for worst QB in recent History, I vote for Jeffy George.

Schuler by far. Wuerfel was already known as a terrible QB. I didnt like him at Florida.

Brunell definitely is not the worst. But I wish he would go ahead and retire. B/C I want to remember him for how good he was. Not how terrible he is now.

IF YOU THINK BANK THEN YOUR CRAZY, TONY BANKS WAS IN AVERAGE QB BUT HE HAD THE BEST PLAY ACTION FAKE IV SEEN THEN ANY OTHER QB ON THIS LIST. SO THINK ABOUT WHAT YOUR SAYING ABOUT HIM. I LIKED BANKS WHEN WE HAD HIM HE WAS IN ARIGHT QB.

Right. Playaction move. The definitive characteristic of a at least an average QB. How good he can fake a handoff. Of course, Banks did an average job of faking being an NFL QB. He had average if not worse accuracy, he tended towards eyeing one receiver, ( he didn't check down), and had happy feet. Among other things. Yeah. Real crazy, ( notice the lack of caps? Pretty cool feature on keyboards).

Danny Wuerfell just flat out sucked and contirbuted nothing to our team.

Although Jeff George was trash in 2001, he led us to a couple of wins in 2000. Remember that awesome game he had against the Rams in St. Louis?

Tony Banks didn't do much but at least he could run. Plus he was in a run first offense so he didn't have to throw. Wuerfell was garbage in a throw first offense.

Heath Shuler wasn't groomed properly, well to be honest I never really saw him play, so I excluded him.

Mark Brunell had a bad year but he's been a good QB in his career. I think he may end up surprising some people if he gets a chance to play this year. Lets hope it doesn't come down to that though!
