I stole this from the CPND site regarding certain players. I hope they don't mind.

The first set of numbers is savings if cut before June 1 2004

The second set of numbers is savings if cut after June 1 2004

The third set is the 2005 Cap Hit if cut after June 1 2004

Chris Samuels OT $2,096,000 $6,532,000 $4,436,000

Jeremiah Trotter LB -$1,948,000 $2,700,000 $4,648,000

Renaldo Wynn DE $251,000 $2,000,000 $1,749,000

Rod Gardner WR -$104,000 $1,006,000 $1,110,000

Dave Fiore OG $350,000 $1,100,000 $750,000

Larry Moore C $1,300,000 $1,300,000 N/A

Brandon Noble DT $100,000 $1,000,000 $900,000

Regan Upshaw DE -$200,000 $1,000,000 $1,200,000

Matt Bowen S $50,000 $850,000 $800,000

Trung Canidate RB $915,000 $915,000 N/A

Jermaine Haley DT $325,000 $650,000 $325,000

Byron Chamberlain TE $710,000 $710,000 N/A

So it looks to me as if Larry Moore could and will be cut if and when we sign another C to battle it out with Friedman.

it seems that Moore and Dung would be good cuts to make after June 1st, no dead cap space next year and frees up 2 million right up front. We probably couldnt lose both Moore and Fiore, but we also do have Dockery to back up Fiore, and if Beverly signs, Moore definitely seems expendable. Also, seeing as how we have Portis, Betts, and Morton, along with Cartwright, why would we need Dung, he'll prolly just get injured on his first carry anyways.

Cory Raymer was recently cut by the Chargers, and the Skins have interviewed him. If he is signed, he would compete with and/or back up Friedman at center, making it likely that Moore would be released.

Unless Flore retires!!

I think the 'Skins are just taking their time here, there is no need to release him yet, we are still under the cap so wait unti we have to made a decision and then do what has to be done.
