Injury Report Week 4

TK

Recommended Posts

fortunately most of the offensive injuries seem to be short term.  I think we need to activate AGG and Jonathan Williams for the week.

we've already got three guys out; Scherff, Sims and Brown.  No way Jace Sternberger knows a bit of the playbook.  Put one each inactive from the defensive side of the ball, DL, LB, DB and we've got all the room we need for them

Gibson is going to be severely limited if he continues to play at all.  McKissic and Patterson are going to have to carry a HUGE load of the course of the regular season.  Turner is going to have to be creative tomorrow and going forward given amount of injuries on the offensive side of the ball.

Not exactly true because his blocking/protection is unaffected.  Additionally he's a good WR and can be used with Samuel in swapping roles and cause confusion in multiple formations.  It's all about avoiding taking any hit on that specific spot and pain tolerance.  I wouldn't expect him to be running gut but hit him in space and he can work towards the sideline.

Just has to avoid getting cut below the knees.

What does this mean for AG and playing foosball? It means he's got a deep bone bruise that is pretty damn painful.  If he takes a hit on the shin, he'll feel it through his entire leg.  It's also kind of a weak spot, but shouldn't be an issue for running, but it's a huge deal when getting hit!

Healing time...yeah it's not healing anytime soon. Specifically if he continues to play, then he has to get lucky and not take a hit on the shin.  It's not going to break his leg in half, it's going to hurt like a MF'er!

So is it going to be cortisone shots or something similar, to get through the season, since it sounds like it's more of a pain issue, than a structural or a functional one ?
