true story....    

 

i was driving my (no longer a child) child on Halloween, who was wearing a pig mask and (while we were stopped at a stoplight) was silently looking out the window at a mother and her somewhat over-weight child walking by.    

 

the child smiled and gave a thumbs-up, at which point i enthusiastically said "oink!"  at the same time as my child got shy and turned away and took off the mask.    The "oink!" made the mom turn and look -- and she saw me with a happy smile on my face, and gave me a glare that is still, two days later, causing puppies across the globe to spontaneously shrivel up and die.     

 

true story :(
