Will be out at @SpankysPub in Leesburg tomorrow night at 7pm with #Redskins @NilesP_ talking skins and meeting fans. Come on out if you can!

The Redskins will sign linebacker Zach Vigil to replace the injured Will Compton, according to multiple sources. The Redskins cut Vigil before the season. Compton has a Lisfranc sprain and was placed on injured reserve. Vigil must still first pass his physical before signing.

Source confirms Zach Vigil is headed back to DC. The LB spent camp with the Redskins and was let go on cutdown day. @john_keim first on the story.

Marshall @M7Aaron 4h4 hours ago

After flashing potential when fully healthy, Skins defense is now 26th in PPG allowed. Shows how much work still needs to be done. Major depth issues.

New Redskins running back Byron Marshall was told "nice burst" by running backs coach Randy Jordan at the end of a drill in which he ran around pads and then sprinted forward.

Redskins tight end Jordan Reed is doing agility work off to the side. He's missed the last two games with a hamstring injury. Tackle Trent Williams is not practicing as he rests his knee.

My favorite story Chris told me was about his fifth-grade spelling bee.

So Trent and Reed both out of practice today. Both were questionable for the MIN game. Trent played, Reed didn't. We'll see how it plays out.

Gruden remarked that the Saints are a totally different team from the last time they played. Said he doesn't even watch the tape from their last game because both teams are so different #Redskins

Josh Harvey-Clemons is the No. 3 ILB behind Brown and Spaight per Gruden.

Maurice Harris made another one-handed grab in practice, vs. good coverage by Norman. Some unsuitable language followed (praising Mo).

Gruden said RB Samaje Perine is not so much a "spell" guy as one that will get better the more carries he gets [as in a game] #Redskins

Gruden on difference between Saints this and last year said they're very balanced and are playing with a lead most of the time because of their good defense. #Redskins

Jordan Reed and Trent Williams did not practice. Ryan Grant in concussion protocol. Crowder skipped for personal reasons, per Gruden.

Redskins receiver Terrelle Pryor is not at practice yet today. It's uncertain the reason for his absence. Jamison Crowder, who was absent Wednesday, has returned.

Tight end Jordan Reed and left tackle Trent Williams both are working off to the side, going through agility drills and some resistance training.
