NoCalMike
Would be nice if SPurrier would call these same plays for Ramsey. Throw the ball short and let the RB make a play with their legs. This is what is missing from the Skins offense.
Ignatius J.
They do call these plays, patrick just misses them.... -DB

laurent
That was a beautiful playcall and Hasselbeck sold that pump fake pretty well. The safety was reading Hasselbeck and bit hard on the pump leaving Coles 1 on 1.
roachman
Everything looks like it moving faster with Tim at QB. He sets up quicker and is ready to throw before the rush can get to him. 1/2 a second release time makes a big difference.
d_mac069
He looks quicker in the pocket, and he has the ability to scramble. TD SKINS, TRUNG!:40oz:
Leonard Washington
wow the skins are running a boston. just like they did against the colts last year. why did they take pat out?
Zen-like Todd
Hasselbeck looks like Danny Waffell on THG... just a little bigger, stronger, taller, and younger...
DCdemolition
you can tell now that a lot of our 3 and outs and inability to keep drives going was because Ramsey couldn't hit the touch passes. Hasslebeck is a lot more accurate, and I think that's more important in this system. I say we start this guy until he falters, we know already what ramsey can do. Let Ramsey heal up and see what he can do next year. Also, go to camp with an open QB job.

Canadian Hog
I wanna know why our o line blocks for Tim, but not for Patrick.
Spear
Danny is 6'3", believe it or not. Timmy is listed at only 6'1".
Kyle
Patrick has been taking more time to look deep first, and Hasslebeck is looking short first on most of the plays.
Skeletor The Invincible
Actually I think it's just that Hasselbeck seems to get rid of the ball a lot quicker than Ramsey. So it seems like the O-line blocks better for Tim.

It just takes Ramsey too long to set up. Hasselback looks like he is SPRINTING to get to his drop spot. The effort that he is giving is making this offense look like it has rhyme to its reason. gamecockskins
I guess mobility is a huge asset in this offense.
TLusby
The problem is that Patrick has been abused so much this year that he appears parinoid in the pocket. He has those nervous pumps and fires the ball inaccurately. It has been happening the last three games. He needs a break.
Da_Truth
the block for tim just like they do for ramsey. The fact that ramsey waits all day to throw the ball may be a factor!
NoCalMike
Hassleback's throws remind me of DW's throws. He can get them there in the mid-range, but they just kind of float. The 2nd half will tell the bigger story since Miami can now at least look at some game film and try to adjust. If they feel Hassleback's throws are floaters, they will change their coverage accordingly.
Craig
Hasselbeck for President! Nice to see the kid play so well. I guess there is a lot less pressure when a backup QB comes off the bench to play. This reminds me of last year when we saw Patrick for the first time against Tennessee and he lit it up. Just remember - Patrick came back down to earth the next week when we played the Saints, which coincidentally is who we play next week! But in the meantime, Go Timmy! EagleSteve
Hate to say it, but you're seeing a bit of Andy Reid's WCO training in Hasselbeck. Make a quick decision, if it's not there, go short. Detmer and Feeley look the same. For the moment, he's made the Redskins into the predicted offensive juggernaut. Da_Truth
yea craig but the difference is, we did'nt have that much talent last year like we do this year. Hasselbeck is in the making. He is doing this on a elite defense!! and he has mobility, something we lacked for i don't know how long at QB.
