hail2skins Posted June 14, 2014 Share Posted June 14, 2014 The Steelers-Vikings Super Bowl (boring game) in early 1975 was the first one I ever watched and the news of his passing brings back memories of those 70s Super Bowls, including the great games against the Cowboys. Isn't Noll still the only guy with four Super Bowl victories as a head coach? Considering the success the Steelers had in the 70s and then with Cowher/Tomlin since the early 90s, the 80s are often looked at as a really down time for the Steelers (Noll's last year was 1991, the same year us Skins fans last felt Lombardi glory), when they were mainly a .500 team record-wise during that stretch.
