There is no requirement to get a licence for a long gun. And no one ever gets arrested transporting a long gun to their home. Yes, handguns are quite restricted here, but your claims abut long guns sound like they came straight from Wayne LaPierre. Actually he is partially right. AB 809 requires long guns to be registers beginning January 2014. And, in the interests of disclosure, it was probably 15 years ago. I'm not aware of any major gun law changes, but just because I'm not aware doesn;t mean they haven't happened. A lot depends on state law. I am guessing Oklahoma has some pretty loose state laws sine it is pretty Rural. I know California has State laws that cover consignment sales.
