royallypwned
Welcome to another year of playoff picking! Same scoring as last year, and if you don't recall how it worked, then here ya go: you get 2 points for each team you correctly pick to win their first round series. You get 4 points for each team you pick to reach the conference finals. 6 points for an NBA finalist. And 8 points for correctly picking the champ. You will also pick the number of games for every series. In the first round, you will get 1 bonus point if you also guess the exact number of games with the winning team. In the 2nd round, the bonus will increase to 2 points, but it's more complicated because you have to have had both teams correct. For example, you can't get bonus points if you predict Spurs over Grizzlies in 6 in the 2nd round if it is actually Spurs over Clippers in 6. The pattern continues as you get 3 bonus points in the conference finals and 4 in the finals. If you have any questions regarding the scoring, don't hesitate to ask. I don't have a prize already in mind and I actually don't know if there will be one. I will be moving for the next few days and won't have internet and tv for the next week or so. I'll keep y'all informed if a prize becomes part of this. Anyway, on to the matchups. You should note that the Hawks have home court vs the Celtics in round 1, if that makes a difference to you. #1 Spurs vs #8 Jazz #4 Grizzlies vs #5 Clippers #2 Thunder vs #7 Mavs #3 Lakers vs #6 Nuggets #1 Bulls vs #8 Sixers #4 Celtics vs #5 Hawks #2 Heat vs #7 Knicks #3 Pacers vs #6 Magic Here is last year's thread. Kosher Ham
Bulls are deep enough to get to the ECF. Maybe. Celtics are seasoned enough to possibly pull off the series. And who knows perhaps the Sixers take advantage of the situation. Rose did play most of the game today.
