Just to defend McNabb:He lost his job in Philly and went from icon to temp in Washington: He lost his job in Wash and went from temp to mistake in Minnesota His career is already in free-fall with all of his time spent in jeopardy. 5k and mentioning a band for a number he wore for 6weeks seems rather low on the list of priorities considering you get the number back when you want it 'kicker'. As was mentioned earlier, then he never should have said he would do it. 5k for a charity isn't much for an NFL player. If you don't want to do that, don't tell him you will.
