Gracelander
I'm wondering if anybody here knows about Skype. I got it to work on my ipad and iphone with no problems, is there way I could use it on my 52 inch Sony Bravia tv? I'd love to sit on the couch and see my family in California on the big screen. Can this be easily done? I do have Apple Tv if that helps any. Thanks
PeterMP
Can you hook your IPAD into an external "monitor", like a tv and use your IPAD? You can definitely do this w/ a normal computer (lap top, but you could do it w/ a desktop too). You run it off your computer, but use your tv essentially as an external monitor. chipwhich
You can do it if you buy Apple TV. connecting your ipad with a cable might be a little annoying.
Slacky McSlackAss
There's no built in functionality in the TV for it (Though newer TVs do have the capability), but by hooking up a laptop or iPad to your TV and using the TV as a monitor you could accomplish this. Gracelander
Thanks for the info. i'm going to try Chipwhich's suggestion and see if I can find it on apple tv. Otherwise i'll probably buy the wire tomorrow.
dfitzo53
Unless you need the cable right away, monoprice.com generally has much better prices on cables and connectors than what you'd find at BestBuy and places like that. Shipping is pretty quick too.
