His Campaign Promise, once he settles into Washington D.C.

If the Redskins score more than 2 TD's on Sunday, you get a FREE Godfather's Pizza for every Large 2-Topping that you order

We have a winner. Except he does it in every NFL city for every team. With a tag line of "You're welcome, America"

There is a huge element of tokenism in this.

I'm not sure how anyone can support a candidate whose foreign policy pledge is "I'll figure it out when you elect me."

Well, if we have to pass the bill so we can know what is in it, then why not elect a man to find out what his stances are? It is not without precedent, in 2008 we elected an Chief Executive with zero days executive experience...

Who are the other 15 ?

Unless I am missing something in their history (and I probably am)...

J̶a̶m̶e̶s̶ ̶M̶o̶n̶r̶o̶e̶ ̶

John Quincy Adams

Andrew Jackson

M̶a̶r̶t̶i̶n̶ ̶V̶a̶n̶ ̶B̶u̶r̶e̶n̶ ̶

William Henry Harrison

J̶o̶h̶n̶ ̶T̶y̶l̶e̶r̶ ̶ ̶

Franklin Pierce

James Buchanan

A̶n̶d̶r̶e̶w̶ ̶J̶o̶h̶n̶s̶o̶n̶ ̶ ̶

Benjamin Harrison

Warren G. Harding

Harry S. Truman

John F. Kennedy

Lyndon B. Johnson

Richard Nixon

edit..it appears that Monroe was Governor of Virginia before his presidency..so was Tyler...two down from that list.

edit again...Van Buren was Governor of NY (for only 4 months though)...sigh. The list is getting shorter. :ols:

edit again..man my list and memory sucked. Andrew Johnson was Gov of Tennessee.

For the record, I have not counted executive experience for the few listed who might have served as either LT Gov (Harding) or VP (LBJ, Nixon)..

Washington, Grant, and Eisenhower had "executive" experience in the sense that they were military men but never held any political office.

Ford spent his entire career in the House.

One thing I think we can all agree on.

Going forward, Cain should simply be called "Black Perot."

I bet he would do a lot better in the polls if he was called "Black Perot."
