21MadFan
I was watching the highlights from this weeks games and noticed that there were a hell of alot of turnovers. I looked at the stats and there were 65 turnovers, 33 being fumbles, and 32 being interceptions. Thats an average of 5 turnovers per game. Anybody else astounded by this? Does anybody know the record for most turnovers in a week? I tried to find it and couldn't
BurntToast
That's an average of two turnovers per team. Teams that didn't have a TO can thank Jay Cutler for keep that average high.

JdoubleU
This is getting very Madden like. I've never seen so much fumbling in general.

pointyfootball
:cry: IThats an average of 5 turnovers per game. Anybody else astounded by this? It's because the NFL is hamstringing the defense. They can't play defense anymore!
81+83+84=Posse
I noticed that there were a lot of points scored, then I heard them say on Sportscenter that is was the highest scoring week since 1983 I believe.
Capt'n Obvious
This is getting very Madden like. I've never seen so much fumbling in general. Agreed. I can't remember a week where it seemed like every few plays in any game, someone would fumble the ball.
No_Pressure
We had a full moon around the weekend, I blame that.
SonOfWashington
Wasn't it also the highest scoring week by team average in like 25 years? Weird. Wonder if it has anything to do with the new rules in affect.
Audible_Red40
If the NFL just changed the rules so the defenders can not intercept passes with their hands, then turnovers would go down. Carlos would not have a problem with this rule change.
