IrepDC Posted October 18, 2010 Share Posted October 18, 2010 I'm sitting here watching the post game show and multiple players have come on and said that Big Al really wanted to be out there tonight, but that Shanahan decided to deactivate him. They also pointed out how Haynesworth is the most experienced linemen against Manning(i.e knowing some of his snap counts and OL signals) from his time in Tennessee. I am really wondering why Shanahan would decide not to let the guy play. Shawn Springs also was quoted on the show saying that Haynesworth wanted to play for his brother. What's up with Mike? And by not playing him, I think Shanahan blew an opportunity. I feel like this might've been an opportunity to start fresh with Al, but now it's back to square one.
