Art Monk Fan
Universal Pictures and NBC Universal Television have locked down an ambitious deal to adapt Stephen King’s fantasy novel series "The Dark Tower" for both the big and small screen. Read Full Story I just hope this is done well.
Mooka
"The Da Vinci Code" team of director Ron Howard, producer Brian Grazer and writer Akiva Goldsman will adapt the property into a feature film trilogy and network TV series that, in a highly unusual move, will unfold the story simultaneously across both formats. Ideally the viewer would watch the first film, the first season of the show, the second film, the second season of the show, and then the final film. That's a genius idea. Excited for both the show and the movies.
HighPlainsDrifter
I loved this series of novels right up until the end. I though the ending was a huge disappointment.
jpillian
I'm a bit disappointed with Ron Howard getting the gig. I'm a bit leary of him doing anything "dark".
GhostofSparta
I'm a bit disappointed with Ron Howard getting the gig. I'm a bit leary of him doing anything "dark". But he's a ginger, and we don't have souls. So that should be perfect, right?
Redskins Reparations
I am not sure how some of the scenes would translate...could be wack. I wonder who is going to play Roland?

MrSilverMaC
While I am excited that someone is going to try this, the chance they actually do a good enough job to not have me disappointed is slim at best. I couldn't stand what they did to The Stand, and that was just one book.
