Fan since a Fetus
I tried it out in Best Buy, eyes hurt within a minute or two. Demo was a cartoon. That sucks. I had a female volleyball game. It was very enjoyable.
TMK9973
I actually want to THANK the OP for buying it. See - we need enough people to buy 3d TV's so companies continue developing, but not enough where they feel like it's accepted. I would guess we are less then 2 years away from 3d TV's NOT needing glass (http://www.engadget.com/2010/01/10/intel-shows-off-glasses-free-3d-demo-now-this-is-more-like-it/) And then - Hologram TV's would be next.... http://www.squidoo.com/holographictv And before you know it - I can picture Vitural Realitiy TV's where you are IN THE Scene.... MissU28
That sucks. I had a female volleyball game. It was very enjoyable. I saw a soccer commercial in 3D...it was pretty awesome. I would LOVE to watch NFL games in 3D....
stoney26
Im thinking about getting one. Just did a little bit of research and it looks like I could get a 3d lcd from samsung for pretty cheap. Should I spring for the led which is more expensive but Im assuming is way better or is lcd still pretty good? I dont know much about tvs so I guess what Im asking is whats the difference between led and led and is it worth paying the extra money to go led? jnhay
Looks like the new fad is nothing but a headache... 3d's not a fad at all. Technology will keep improving, and it will just become more prevalent. I hope this 3d fad ends soon. It bothers me during movies after about an hour of watching and I paid good money to not have to wear glasses and now I need to buy multiple 100 sets for friends etc? I'd be interested in seeing some long-term reviews but as of now I want this fad to die. Aren't there 2d versions of most 3d movies?
