Boss_Hogg Posted June 11, 2010 Share Posted June 11, 2010 (edited) I just took delivery of a 2006 Gamer worn by Joe Salave'a. 2006 Joe Salave'a Jersey Joe Salave'a played for the Redskins from 2004-2006. He was born in Leone, Samoa. Salave'a made a name for himself in 2004. He had 30 tackles and two sacks for the second-ranked Redskins defense. In 2005, he started 13 games and had 50 tackles, a half-sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, helping to lead the Redskins to the playoffs. The last sale they had at the tent sale, they had at least two very beat up Salave'a jerseys which were not purchased. I remember almost buying one. I have a hunch they are going to show up on Josports. Yours isn't beat up, but I wouldn't mind picking up one if it was beat up. I picked this jersey because my cousin, that is from DC, went to Cal with Andre and knew him personally while they were in school together. I remember her telling me about this great defensive player at Cal that she was friends with and then it all came full circle when he came to the Skins. 2009 was arguably Carter's best season with the skins recording 48 tackles, 11 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 4 passes defensed and 9 stuffs. Pics below, please excuse the lack of quality in the pics, I used my iphone camera. *EDIT* Just received my 2nd Game Issued Jersey (Not Worn). According to JO Sports this LaRon Landry Away Jersey was issued in the 2010 Season, but the tag in the neck suggests that it was made originally in 2008. Pics below. I don't remember what years they are from, I'll have to check back on that. I bought the Marko Mitchell for myself for Christmas 2011 because it was on sale for $50 and Mitchell is my first name. I got the Marcus Washington jersey because he was one of my favorite players on the Skins. *EDIT* Marko Mitchell from 9/13/09 against the New York Giants Here is my Marcus Washington gamer. Not necessarily. You're referring to the thermopatch. Whether the thermopatch is applied depends on if the player was a starter, and/or if his jersey was viewed by the team as having special value. These thermopatches were applied by the team. There are plenty of jerseys that were worn on the field that don't have those thermopatches. There are also plenty of jerseys that were never worn at all that don't have the thermopatches Josportsco tried to rectify this by applying their own thermopatches to many of the jerseys. Their thermopatches looked a little different than the team's thermopatch. But it turns out that some of the jerseys patched were not actually worn. And they also misspelled words on some of them which I found was kind of unprofessional. Other jerseys were not thermopatched at all, by anybody.
