SkinsTerps26
4 teams are eliminated as of week 12, and we were 2-1 versus those teams and probably should have been 0-3. The browns are the other team eliminated. After we play the saints, you can kiss the 2009 season goodbye. Let's start talking about next year 1. QB. who is it going to be? Colt? or draft, or will jason have no other suitors? 2. who are our free agents? 3. coaching speculations are everywhere, where is this team going. 4. Next year we have the NFC North (farve-at home, gb, bears and detroit ) and the AFC south (Manning-at home:doh::doh::doh::doh::doh:, texans, jags, titans) plus our usual NFC east grouping. 5. Manning @ FedEx, def hitting that game up. THis thread is specifically talking about our offseason plans (early i know) but for those fans that only want to talk about the offseason as things progress during this miserable season. Garfield
Nope, now is not the time. The most important part of this season is coming up. Here's the what the plan should be... In about three weeks, we need to seriously ramp these boards, the radio stations, etc up with Anti-Snyder material. We need to go nuts letting him know that we want a real GM and want him to keep his little fingers out of everything. If the first move of the offseason if to announce that he is keeping Vinny on or to fire him and promote some other puppet who immediately restructures Portis so that we an sign the big name free agent then we need to start a full-scale riot. addicted
^ Hahah ^ What took you so long OP? Many of us have been talking about next year for the past several weeks. Our season was over the minute we let Zorn and Campbell stay another year. Say what you want about Vinny, all he did was draft and bring in the players. Guys like Orakpo and Hanyesworth showed up and the most important guys, head coach and QB, never did.
Ax
Of course, talking about it now, with incomplete information, is the kind of half assed approach so roundly criticized around here as being SOP. If we're all so good at seeing the future, where are all the lotto winners? The time to discuss the offseason/next season, is during the offseason. Veretax
Dan is going to trade his entire team for some other team's players.

santana_4_prez
Guys, I'll tell ya one thing. It ain't gonna be Colt at QB (unless possibly you are referring to McCoy). I'll throw down half a paycheck on that.

dockeryfan
I'm actually enjoying the fact that the team is playing better the last few games.
SkinsTerps26
regardless, after this week we will more than likely be eliminated from the playoffs. when that happens, you start thinking of next season. if our depth wasn't such a huge problem, i'd say start the young guys and let them develop, but thats already happening with 11, 12, 86 and 98. barnes too i think. DMVSkins
We have a better chance winning a Reskins scratch off lottery than the team making the playoffs.
88Comrade2000
No guarantee Farve comes back. Only way I see he returns if the Viking fall short of making it to a superbowl. First we need to see what the front office structure will be like and who are new head coach will be. Also, will 2010 remain a non-cap year or will the players reach a deal with owners? There's alot that is going to happen before free agency starts.
Rocky21
I had to look at the time stamp on this thread. Time to talk about next season started after the win against the Rams.
